Well, it is a seasonally strong period of the year but the market was already up 25.3% going into December. If I have time tonight I'll try to calculate the average return for December for years that were already up >20% through November.

Options expirations (rather massive this time) and position balancing by big funds are factors in Dec. Equities can jump when these clear away.

So far I've been wrong on retail power latest bear call
Daily chart below and as you see bulls yet again trying to increase the gap again against price
(read about 'the two extreme' in my volume thread for more explanation)

My call to close WTI yesterday looks to have been a big mistake, no regrets though an absolute stellar rise if I may say so, confirming what was suspected, the fall on Friday was a shakeout, should trust my judgement more (even a stopped clock is right twice a day LOL) made a similar mistake with gold and not keeping with it, would be concerned if this behaviour was loosing me money, however they have rewarded opportunist profit, the day I hold is the day I loose D

With the OPEC meetings + EIA inventory numbers you'll never know which direction it will go. Earned a few dollars but it could have been 4 figures

Thanks Ef, could be another down leg forming, pundits talking of a seasonal rally in jeopardy (yesterday) because of trade talks, my guess, and it would be a wild one, like we all thought oil was going to $40, the rabbit out of the hat, ChinUSA deal announced to skyrocket the Dow, look forward to your findings if you have time, D
