The Short People song was just an example of Randy's ascerbic humour which apparently cost him a bit of grief from the politically correct crowd (I make no judgement on a songwriter, either way, myself).

Yes, I almost posted the Short People video as it was always a favourite of mine. But in the 21st century, sadly, PC bullshit has overtaken the global sense of humour!

Having a birthday today is John Mayall, 'father of the UK blues movement', his Bluesbreakers Band has featured Eric Clapton Mick Taylor, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Jack Bruce, Peter Green and Jimmy McCulloch. There's just so much that can be said about John Mayall but words are insignificant really......he's a legend, in every sense of the word.
