This was a thread I started seven months ago. I've since expanded on my knowledge about the markets and studied multiple theories and the way it works but basically without getting too deep into why retail traders lose, no it's not money management, no it's not strategy, it's simply traders being MISINFORMED.

The prayers are not getting tired to want all the world must stick to higher time frame. More false can not be. Take time frame after you have time for it. If it will the only truth, why these member not trade the yearly?

Several times in life, more secure will be not. Or cut trading at all.

Using multi time frame result not in a better entry.

right now , traders improved their skill by learning,
lots of sources in online for learning with signal services,
so losing percentage decreasing really.

its very true there are plenty of sources to learn Fx especially for beginners. but according to me, still they ignore learning and try to bring profit very rapidly without passing minimum time in here.

No probz. I'm gonna have to unsubscribe from the thread though. This thread is getting nowhere. one can get rid of it

in fact losing is more than a habit
when you look close at it - it's a strategy
a complete successful strategy, that's why 90+% use this survival-mechanism
so them have to be proud of their success
every day in beating themselves
because that is what losing is

its the consequence of ignoring the truth
that you only can take responsibility for your actions
when you know deeply and with every fiber what you are going to do
but that means learning in preparation to do...

but to pass the responsibility you only can lie to yourself..

this is the cause behind the fact they feel depressed

pain in worst case is just a price you pay

fx forums are a farce

The best place to learn what NOT to do.

You don't know the work involved.

None of these guys with the tacky flags even have intimate knowledge of the mechanics and players of the mkt - Just read their bs.

There's no incentive to help. Why would we, to get someone screaming heresy at us?

I just had to reply seeing this thread for so long.

FF factory does have a great calendar to compare, though it misses a lot of the releases.

Whatever it is; till now Forex forum is the most effective way of learning Forex; even much better option than the so called paid courses!

I think one can learn better from a consize tutorial - many of which can be found online for free - but forums are a great place to ask questions about things you don't understand.

I think that the 1% who are winning big are probably not going to share their systems with the crowd. Why should they when if the crowd all open trades at the same point or place hundreds of stops in a certain area the market will gun them for sure! The 1% are making big money from trading against the crowd! I suppose it really means looking at the market from a different perspective. Where are the "crowd" likely to place their stops? If you can identify a likely area, make sure you do the opposite!

As I mentioned before, 99% are losing simply because of overtrading - not just overtrading per se but also opening trades at the wrong times. That's not just at the wrong time of the day but also at times (often most of the day) when price action is not trending but simply ranging. It's just impossible to win at these times so loss is inevitable. Experienced traders are able to identify these dangerous periods or phases. Two easy methods are by simply seeing how far up or down the price has moved in the last few hours. Then draw horizontal lines at the daily high and lows and previous days high and lows too. WAIT until these high/lows are broken and the relevant support/resistance re-tested before opening a trade. This is where patience comes in and there is no doubt that the 1% that are winning are all very patient people!

I agree, they miss the most important part. But that impatience and carelessness definitely makes them pay for it later.

People get disabused of those notions pretty quickly as newbies, but the lesson is still painful.
