Regarding the spikes it all depends on what LP your broker is using, and if they are keeping you on B book or A book, and also if you are with a bucketshop which is its own liquidity provider which is a conflict of interest as you can assume, now the fun part is for you to figure what one your broker is

Hi HRTrading, thank you for your reply.

However I think there's no way to discover what's going on under the hood of the broker's side beyond a certain limit, we're retail traders and we have to do our best with what we have.

spikes are common on NY closing or opening. Brokers widen spread greatly due to lack of liquidity but obviously some bucket shops exploit this further.
I am generally happy with Oanda most importantly I get my money out in 24hrs or less.Trying get your money out is most important because bucket shops can give you round and round BS and I read plenty complains.

If both numbers rise, the USD could follow North. If they both drop, USD could follow south.. However, they may go in opposite directions – offsetting each other.

Seven attempts hourly this week to break R38....this mornings engulphing candle made a statement, then one more attempt...pretty much forced me to go short...if I am seeing this correctly.....
