Ended up only taking this pair of entries on the MYM, a Gartley and a Butterfly. Didn't have quite enough time in the session to reach my target so bailed early.

Congratulation! I saw that coming too but I don't have rotation on my chart so I don't pull the trigger.

I talked to the boss for a minute last week, he has some family stuff but didn't elaborate and I didn't push for details.
He's alive and trading, I know that much.

No trades for me, here were my setups, looking back there were 2 opportunities, I skipped the first because of the double top, and the second I was out to lunch.

I hope he and his family are well.

He is definitely very missed here.

We wish him all the best, and hopefully we'll hear from him soon.

Took a loss on the YM. I was trading the completion of the AB=CD trying to get long. The rotation candle was too good and I did have a funny feeling about it. Either way, I had a basis that I entered the trade on. -40 points

Hey guys, Im still holding the trade from yesterday and wanted to ask how you guys would manage this situation.

After my initial entry, price moved down and made a new structure low, in accordance with the expectation (as shown by point 1 in the image). However, before it reached my target, it pulled back to the 38.2 retracement (shown by point 2 in the image), forming a new main swing. Seeing this, would you take another entry and move both stops to breakeven when the NSL is tested (e.g. stop of first entry deep into profit) or would you simply just let the first trade play out to breakeven or target?

Hopefully, my writeup was clear. I look forward to your opinions! Thank you!

my opinion - Statistically speaking, you need to treat each swing/entry separately, if that's how you backtested your strategy. The second entry has nothing to do with the first entry other than giving you an "average position".
