I'm still heavy long USD/JPY and will stick to that. If we break deep below 80 I will cut some positions but not before.

Time for an update. October is almost finished and I've made good gains.

Came across your site via AshrafLaidi. Excellent results so far. Have started to follow some of your trades. I'm a newbie to trading and was wondering what you use to come up with you trades - fundamentals, technicals - Elliott waves.

Thanks! I mainly use very simple technicals like support/resistance and simple overbought/oversold theories and the fact that there almost always will be corrections, especially for these exaggerations in the metals (bubble) lately. Fundamentals I use only basic ones like interest rate differentials, debts and so on. Elliot Wave is a no go for me, that is just too fancy.

Are you still trading this grid? I think it has more potential than you give it. I hope you revisit it and run it on a dedicated account without the manual trades. You can gear the leverage up that way.

Also, you might consider getting someone to write up an EA for it so you can backtest it. It's hard (impossible maybe?) to backtest multiple currencies, but it will at least give you an idea of how much leverage to use and what grid spacing is optimal.
