When? On a Monday night after the first daily candle of the week is closed we will look for any pairs where is a confluence between the trend and all 4 time frames.

your image shows still 28-10-2019 1st day of the week which was not yet closed. Anyhow if you want to auto trade with EA that make sense.

Yes and is the image showing any open trades yet? Is it showing that the basket has opened yet? Please read and check properly before posting.

Hello mrdfx,

In the case of AUDNZD where it closed yesterday in all green bars. But just after an hour after the market has opened, the bars changed color and not all are green already. Do we still take this trade?

Wait about 2.5 more hours. That will be 4 hours after the daily close. Check the indicator, open buys on all pairs that are all green, open sells on all pairs that are all

red. Use your own personal MM system for tp and sl. Last week I was +200 pips in 18 hours. To bad it's a demo account.

15 pairs this week, lets see how it goes.

Good news is that the EA opened all orders as it should. Just need to test the trailing stop and then it should be good for release.

Hi mrdfx, I'm testing my own EA of your strategy and it opened 15 pairs too.

It's possible they aren't exactly the same as yours because I saw your basket was opened at 03:00 while I set 03:59 as opening time.
TP = 5%, SL = 10%, TL = 3.4%, let's see out it will turn out.

At the moment my basket it's not going well... it touched -9%, very close to SL.

It can also depend from the fact that I set Open Basket Time # 03:59, while mrdfx at 03:00.

Unfortunately the basket hit SL this morning. It went as high as +4% before retracing and hitting -10% SL.

The main losses came off from GBP pairs which jumped from Brexit news, so perhaps it would have been a good idea to leave out GBP pairs due to their current extreme Brexit volatility.

Anyway this is how we learn and btw this is only the 2nd time the strategy has hit SL in my testing so far so there's that. Its all good I'm going to make some tweaks to the EA that I picked up and release it soon for everyone. Cheers!

Hi mrdfx,

even if I too hit 10% SL, I'm still on the run because I activated partial closing mechanism, e.g. when you touch -10%, the trade with the biggest loss is closed.
In my basket it was GJ and after closing it I'm currently at a floating loss of about -3.50% with a realized loss = -2.26% that is far better to recover than -10%.

Of course using partial loss mechanism can make you an overall loss bigger than that initially planned, that' the other side of the coin.
Instead if trend changes you're still on the line for a profit.

I suggest you not to trade all GBP crosses and all CHF pairs..

Would it not make sense to apply different position sizes to different pairs based on there pip count/ATR?

In my testing of multi pair systems, over the years, I notice that some pairs have huge wins and huge losses and other pairs have little wins and little losses, never really knew how to combat this...

I think it should be based on pip value...any ideas.

I entered my trade for the basket at 3:45 min after the day candle has closed and i had eight currency pairs without GBP because it didnt qualify.I just closed the basket with profit of 33 pipps when i read most of you hit stop lost.
The rules should be very clear..How long can someone wait before closing trades?

Here is my trades this week. I don't set SL, but I set a profit target for individual pairs and global target to close all trades when target meets.

I waited a full 4 hours after Monday close before I opened my trades. At that time only 7 pairs were in trend. This is where I'm at now.
