{quote} Hi bubincka, man thanks for this trade manager! I'm sure it will help many of us! I see that it picks up all open orders on the account not only the pairs opened for this strategy. Is there a way that it will pick up only the pairs that were opened for this strategy and not other orders opened by other systems or EA's?
Ignored
Hi mrdfx,

unfortunately atm it's not possible, I always trade every strategy in its own account so I don't mix things up.

If I'll have some spare time I'll add a magic number so that the trade manager could pick up only trades opened by your strategy.

Best regards,
Bubincka

I have a problem with the indi too ... mine changes colors whenever I change time frames. Renders it pretty useless for obvious reasons. I have no idea who could/would straighten it out.

This EA will show Current Profit, Highest Profit and Lowest Profit since basket opened. It give you an option to close all trades in basket when target meets. It will only manage the trades that has trade comment as in input.

Hey FF! So like myself many traders are reversal traders, always looking for tops and bottoms trying get in as early as possible, but we know that is not as easy as it seems and many times we land up with fake reversals or temporary pullbacks, chasing and adding to losing positions etc etc.. Now I'm sure most of us have heard the sayings that the "trend is your friend", "follow the trend" and "trade with the trend" etc so I gave this some serious thought and came up with an idea that I have been working on for the last 3 months. I know that there...

So, what is that indicator based on ?
Is it from moving average, psar, BB, or what combinations ?
Thanks

On Monday night after the first daily close candle of the week I'll post and share my valid pairs for the week.
Ignored
Hi mrdfx, if MN and W1 are bullish, but the Monday D1 candle is bearish, do you wait the Tuesday candle to check if it's bullish or you don't trade all the week on that pair?

Thanks

The indicator is only checking the current candle/bar if it is up or down, there is no other indicators or extra code.

Hi Alberto_Jazz, if the D1 candle is bearish I will not trade that pair. All 4 time frames need to be the same to be valid.

Why I am getting a weekly bearish candle showing on the indicator when the last closed weekly candle closed bullish. Has anyone else noticed this? The active candle is slightly bearish but I thought the indy looked at the last closed candle. So a weekly candle colour should only change once a week.

{quote} You are complicating things. As I explained in the first post. 2. When? On a Monday night after the first daily candle of the week is closed we will look for any pairs where is a confluence between the trend and all 4 time frames. 3. Any pairs that have the same confluence on all 4 time frames we will open an order in the same direction. That's it, that's all you need to do. Whichever pairs are currently all green or all red you buy or sell, not more complicated than that.

Hi mrdfx,

You stated at the beginning that you wait for the first H4 candle on Tuesday to see how it behaves ( I understood that this candle also should follow the trend indicated by the 4 timeframes alignment ), and after this you open the trades. But you don't wait for the end of that H4 candle ...

Please can you specify one more time: it's all about only the 4 timeframes alignment, or that first H4 candle on Tuesday have any significance in the trading decision ? If the second, which is the meaning of that first H4 candle ?

Cheers

Hi mrdfx,

since it was quick and easy I added the parameter "orderComment".

As default it's set to "" (empty string), you can set it to everything you want, e.g. orderComment = "mrdfx", and the trade manager will be able to manage only the trades that have that comment as input.

Best regards,
Bubincka

Hi forexcentric, I look to open the orders after the first daily candle of the week closes an while the first H4 candle of the new day (Tuesday technically but still Monday night). Yes it is all about the 4 time frames being the same in confluence. The first H4 candle is not any more important that the other 3 time frame candles it only needs to be the same as the others.

Hi bubincka, thank you for your time and effort. So just to clarify this EA will pick up the manually opened orders? As far as I know you can't add comments to manually opened orders?

Alright, I have a question.

If I understand the indicator correctly, it tells you the color of the current candle on a specific TF (not 100% sure if I'm correct).
So you open your trades after Monday's daily close candle and during the first 4 hour candle of Tuesday.

If this is all true, during the first 4hrs of Tuesday, won't the first 4hr candle of Tuesday and Tuesday's daily candle always be the same color?
If yes, why do we need to use 4hr timeframe in the indicator?
