Hi PokerChip,

Just to check with you, do you usually check higher timeframe like H4 or Daily for reversal and entry on H1 for 3 levels or just strictly on H1 timeframe?

I know that it’s difficult to know where’s the highs and lows, but if we can figures it out that will be a perfect entry and leave it for 3 levels for it to reverse again.
( Repeat the same.)

What I’m trying now is to know where’s the reversal meaning
( Highs and Lows or Rejection Candles) enter the trades and stays in the lane for at least 3 levels up & down.

Over the years I have tried all time frames from 15 minutes all the way to the 1 day. After back testing the 1 hour worked the best. The problem on the other time frames is a trader can get whip sawed very easily. I think that the " MM " use's the one hour time frame, but I'm not sure its just a guess.

I think it all boils down to is trading imbalance, if the " MM " has a 70% buyers they'll take a pair the other direction.

The way I trade, I enter somewhere around the reversal, usually above the reversal box and ride it to the 1st level and then close the trade. Then I wait for the right time to enter for the ride to the 2nd level. And then the same for the 3rd level. After the 3rd level the ride is over and I look for another pair. I don't go crazy, I just use one standard lot.

Well explained. Earlier on I saw a reversal for long USDCAD at price 1.30770 and went long at 1 standard lot. Let’s see how it goes and will leave it for 3 level up.

Now watching closely USDJPY for a short trade reversal. Might retest the high again and I will short it for a 3 level down.

Have miss short on EURUSD at price 1.11750 for reversal down to 3 level.

USD/CAD looks like a good trade. Good luck staying in, that's a long way up.
