Maybe somebody out there got some of it? There is a reasonable target zone above at around 12699 - 12711, well within range of a one-candle move if we were to get the kind of madness at the Open that we know we can get. We shall see, as always. Trade well all.
Oh and price got all the way up to our upper target and rebounded from 12699 (actually 12700). Sweet.

i have the counters running but I then traded Cable off the 04-00 to 06-00 bar (2hour). And fixed it with other counters. Too hard to explain lol.

You've given me some ideas here Lem and definite food for thought. I will try these out. Thanks again.

Top of the hour looks like it could work quite well when you look at candles. They all seem to have wicks. I guess sometimes the wicks are formed as soon as a new candle is formed and sometimes later on once it has already been up/down. But the idea definitely has merit and relies on retracement.

Same with the Billy bar break etc. Once a break happens, it retraces frequently for a few pips, before continuing.

Billy, I wonder if it might make sense to open both a buy and a sell when the break happens. Maybe take a few pips from the retracement, close that trade, and then carry on in the direction of the original trade? Does that make sense? Kinda like what Lem mentioned in his post. Opening both a buy and a sell when a new candle opens. Hmmmm. If only there was a way to figure out the frequency distribution of retracements after a break happens, like 50% of the time, price retraces 5 pips after a clean break, before carrying on. 20% of the time it retraces 10 pips... So on and so forth.

Celtic put 6 goals in and I got 16/1 win at Ascot 16.40 (Lem will know what I bet on lol). Forget the beer stick with wine ... need some music that's a good idea

Cable should give us some nice opportunities this morning, as we have price bouncing between significant levels 12686 and 12652. 12629 is the strong level below along with 12606 showing a solid chunk of Demand. Good stuff.
