Most likely what will happen. This overextended straight rise seems to me like an extreme to take out shorts and then open with a huge gap down which people will attempt to buy but it will keep going down to correct this move.

It doesn't matter what they say, this wave is done and big correction will follow.
News doesn't move markets it's voodoo cult of personality. The news is the historical re telling of past events. The cause was already present.
I think I've found the definitive answer to explain this finally after ten years of head scratching.
Everything Happens according to Law. Right now the law is ending diagonals can fall short of the trendline. closed longs and short at 1.11601.

We'll hit 1175 I moved the triangle over again to next low and high...

in weekly we can go BB20-1.13966,we crossed middle of weekly.some people speak about brexit.Huge gap down and so on.But we have trend this is not spike up,this is trend up.middle of BB20 weekly -1.1444 we crossed it up.

Closed sell and buy again. after moving triangle over to the next high and low peak it's still ok.

BIGGEST BOUNCE IN 2019

With more than an hour to go in this Friday session we have clocked the biggest bounce this year for EURUSD at 287 pips.

Not only has this bounce outstripped the January, March, and June bounces which were the biggest heretofore, we managed to just barely squeak a pip or few above the August 25th high and thus take out two of the last important highs.

Where will it end? The August 5th high of 1.1250 is still another 85 pips away demanding just over 370 total pips from this bounce if it is to get stricken. Such a move has not been seen since August of 2018 when 13 calendar days saw a trough to peak bounce of 433 pips:

While that bounce was followed by a 203 pip decline (almost half the way back to the bottom), EURUSD took three months to make a fresh new low in mid-November 2018 only to remain sideways for another 5 months before cutting another new low.

This bounce is now getting old and tall to be sure but another 150 pips to outstrip the Aug 2018 bounce is totally possible. Unfortunately for me that is where my stops will start to get hit....

Will have to pay over the odds anf have only minutes to get in at the right price. Well there u go. closed with high 3 pips from my main target.
Sold at 11662 closed that long set ridiculous large sl to hopelessly? hopefully counter spread jacking at the top of the wave.

Ata, I sincerely don't know what you have done to warrant such attacks on your person in the EURUSD thread. But I am happy you aren't bothered by it and just moderate this thread in a sensible way. Many people here have different ways of trading and just use this board as a place to share ideas and trades. Even if people do not like someone, the least they can do is move on and not keep attacking the person, who doesn't even bother.

I really hope these threads can be clean and people focus on trading instead of trivial matters.

Daily Status Update

For my followers: I don't know about GAP or whatsoever. (Except when I go shopping). I trade what I see and I see that trend is temporarily bullish thanks to Brexit theater!

  1. I actually had spotted a potential Bearish 3 Drives pattern on Daily as shown on chart. The completion level was roughly 1.1115/20 area and I gave 10 more pips tolerance to it and mentioned that I will sell the sh*t out of 1.1130 but thanks to Brexit interference that idea has failed since last daily candle has closed way above it. Is well, not a big deal.
  2. Now we have 2 areas to watch:

    1. Will the previous H&S pre-neckline area already resist? 1.1190 to 1.1210 area!
    2. Or will bulls push a little further and bounce directly from original H&S neckline? 1.1250/1.1275?
    3. Maybe there will be no bounce at all BUT I leave that option out for now and focus on a spot where we might see a bounce!

  3. Then I also have my own Dashed BLUE TL touch area: 1.1270 to be exact (assuming bulls push price straight up) which then would also correlate with my 2nd option of original neckline retest.
  4. Overall I will let bulls run.. No shorting yet. First I MUST see a daily bearish candle!!! Then I will check if mentioned areas begin to reject. I also will keep moving my Dashed RED line with every new bull candle as my followers will understand why and keep buying dips. Time will tell.. No rush at all!

In the longer term, I think this move is unjustified in that the EU economy is in shambles, and the UK being outside of the EU fundamentally has to result in a lower EUR value.

However short-term I think this move is fundamental, because it's about the removal of the constant risks and uncertainty surrounding brexit. Once that wears off, I think it will resume a long-term downwards trend.
