Good that you are honest. My question is - did you try to backtest your system on history? Backtesting some years on H4 can give you more or less fair picture of what drawdown to expect and if this system profitable in a long run.

Bro first of all i dont believe in MT4 back testing. Its total BS. I only believe in forward testing. Forex is so dynamic that markets keep changing all the time. I have been forward testing it for 3 years. The detailed analysis can be made from myfxbook account. This strategy has generated almost 7000 pips but the draw back is that it has a huge draw down plus it takes weeks even months to get profitable trades.

You can enter when the HalfTrend TT shows an arrow after the candle has closed. The HalfTrend TT indicator doesn't repaint but you might see an arrow that will show then disappear on the current candle. This indicates indecision and this is quite normal but this is not relevant on a D1 chart since the trade should only be entered after the candle has closed. There is also the possibility that you see an arrow on a candle and an opposite arrow on the next candle. Oh well nothing is perfect The best entries are when the The HalfTrend TT produces an arrow and the candle price closes above/below the double ATR(14) lines as the case may be. The first 2 arrows on the AUDCAD are examples of good trades. While the third arrow produced good results the entry was not as good as that of the first 2 arrows. The fourth and sixth arrows were also good entries while the signal produced by the fifth arrow wasn't as good but still produced good results. You can also enter into a trade when the Renko Mash indicator changes direction. The fourth arrow signal was the best entry because the HalfTrend TT showed a down arrow, the candle was below the ATR(14) lines and the Renko Mash indicator changed direction. I hope this helps

Hello guys i am back after a long time. I had three trades running for over 73 days out of which first trade of GBPJPY went into huge DD of almost 1200 pips. My second trade of GBPUSD went into DD of 658 pips. My third recovery trade of GBPJPY was also in same DD. I was down to my last 2$ and i thought that this strategy is doomed. My account which has survived over 3 years now is about to be wiped out now. But guess what the trend finally reversed and my account was saved from wiping out. Realistic analysis indicate that no matter how strong a strategy is its bound to fail so one must have a fixed SL and accept losses which is sadly the hardest part. Second recovery trade should only be triggered once trend reversal is confirmed. In my case i went impatient early. Had i not triggered my recovery trade so early i could had survived even DD of 98%. Well we all learn through hard ways.

Man, I wish you success, just because you openly speak here about your hard times and loosing trades. Mostly people here on FF post results with real or fake winning trades and disappear while their strategy is loosing.

You went impatient but recovered. As for me I lack "patience" and this has led to my downfall a few time. I wish you the best with your trades.

you are not alone,we all are learning to be patient and wait for the right setup,no more trading for the sake of trading or out of boredom.All the best!

I am a big fan of half trend indicator and I have tested almost all of them,the one you are providing seems the best.agimat system use the same indicator.i use mtf half trend as well.
