I'm waiting for the end of the 1-2 month race time.
NJ can be considered in a uptrend, I'll be waiting for a pull back before jumping on this new trend.

I closed the position. 72.701
AJ / NJ seems way too oversold in my opinion. I'm looking to take some longs when the market opens today. Who else is thinking similar?
Buy stop in NZD/JPY

If you have read my previous analysis of USD/JPY, you know that stop grabber has been accomplished as USDJPY penetrated low of Sep 24. Now USD/JPY may pull back. Profit taking from sell positions (closing sell of USD/JPY) by many traders and fund managers ahead of NFP, will also help it.
Meanwhile NZD gained as you can see on NZD/USD and it seems to be changing trend today.
Note that I analyze USD/JPY and NZD/USD to determine trade setup on NZD/JPY because the two are more popular than NZD/JPY.

Technical things on NZD/JPY suggests a buy stop order.
It will be either closed at TP (2.0 pips below FIB38.2 on NZD/JPY) or if FIB61.8 on NZD/USD will be hit before FIB38.2 on NZD/JPY, I will close it manually.

I go for the smallest target if it gives me a R:R of 1:1 or better, otherwise I don't enter trade. You identify a trade setup, you place a trade, then a news comes and mess with it; so better to go for smallest target in my humble opinion.

P.S.
Everyone has his/her own style of trading.
Based on NZDUSD and EURNZD, not on this specific chart, I have the impression that the NZDJPY will wait for a couple of days before going UP. I am expecting it to start moving UP on Tue / Wed (Oct. 8 - 9).
This pair seems stronger than NZDUSD.

Following up on yesterday's post. This pair hit my buy target but a bit too early. I am still expecting it to calm down a bit now, consolidate below the current levels and only late Tuesday (Oct. 8th) or early Wednesday (Oct. 9th) to possibly break the lines to the upside... This is similar for the other NZD pairs...

As expected went UP but a day later than I wanted... Now it should break all these nasty lines as they cannot stop it...
