Ratios & Harmonics: a Different Way to Trade

Ok after a restart its ok

I had the same issue yesterday when price moved quickly. I thought it's because I am not in US.

I had that happen to me a few times when I was in a big trade. A few times NinjaTrader totally crashed and I had to restart it. Granted my computer is about 15 years old.

Gave back my profit on an expectation failure figures.

Geez. I can't trade this crap today. I'm gonna go eat.

I quit to after another lost, back to back failures and they just happen to be the last two trades I took. So after a few colorful words and anger setting in, Mastery told me to walk away and I am! catch you all tomorrow!

Got burned on both of those also. No next, done for today.

I used the measuring tool in Ninja Trader. down over 300 points, and up over 300 points, in just about 90 minutes, give or take a minute.

5 trades today. -130

No trades today. Back at it tomorrow.

Chiming in with two losses today, got in a trade with doubled risk because of slippage etc... Never happened before in such dimensions.
Past months's profits on YM blown away after the past weeks mostly losing following the expectation.

IMHO, possible doji is forming, signaling indecision, which normally returns to trend, so down.

We should see a PB today though. Have we already seen all of it? I think not, but only time will tell. For now I'm still keen on longs.

Closing 2, letting 1 position at BE run. If we break current R, coould be a big run. IF! (a big if)...

Well, you aren't the only one having a hard week

My only solution is to keep my head and try to recover in the "next trade". Probability and Statistics should start kicking in.

But +260 will make up for it.

EDIT: you can observe, how the red line in above chart turned green in this last one. Reverting R to S. Is the thig that capt me in the trade.

Come to think of it, I should just tighten the SL but honestly... I'm very tired. It's been a rough day.

A couple of patterns across FX pairs I have drawn out & am involved with.

Jeez. Daily moves are happening in intraday time frames

I have to ask myself what is this market playing out at this time?, in the last couple days, 2-3 weeks? What do we need to see for higher? What will drive markets lower? Where are US markets in the bigger picture? Is pending/current news event already priced in? What's happening fundamentally to affect price in the short term? What level most represents strength, weakness, indecision? How do I best respond to these conditions to preserve capital and grow an account? Which order flow provide the greatest accuracy at the time? Am I trading an order flow against the prevailing trend/with the prevailing trend? Are the odds in my favor that I'm with the prevailing trend to accomplish this? What rules do I employ for both conditions?, Which order flow is giving me the greatest truth? Where are reasonable stops and TP for both conditions , whether I'm right or wrong in my analysis? Am I forcing a preconceived bias ignoring signs contrary to that bias with hopes I'll be right eventually? So many questions to get right and have winning trades. Or at least a majority of the questions answered correctly to have the odds in your favor.

This is trading for me and the clearer I can answer these questions within a window of time, the more it will matter when it's playing out and the greater the reward if I take action. When it doesn't follow the usual and you can quickly recognize the possibility of a deviation is when you can get through the rough parts with as little damage as possible or wild profits!

What are you digesting and analyzing to overcome and override the demons and weaknesses in your trade career? When are you most confident in securing a payoff?

Today I traded the NQ. I started with a bad trade. My main swing is in yellow, expectation was a NSL (which happened), we were in an area of resistance (short and long term) and momentum was increasing if we compare this swing with the previous one, plus we had awesome projection. I didn't close the trade after I saw so much indecision in the cucumber and I took a loss.

At that point it was clear that price was heading north. Lots of strenght to the upside, area of support and the weakness in the cucumber made me think that a buy would have been the right decision. I was trading the green swing and I should have taken profit at the 270 but I didn't.

After this mistake I had to consider the next swing for my target. In the last trade I was still sawing incredible strenght in the swing, break of long term and short term structure and a perfect area of support, so I took the continuation trade.
