So much for an orderly market. By the time I turned off my long expectation to the short side, the trade was gone. It did not take long for the huge main swing to return

2 trades today. 1 BE and 1 for +34. That single trade knocked out my two losers from yesterday!

As warned yesterday... just when everybody will be sure it's long, it'll collapse.
To bad it was very hard to catch this crazy move.

I might not now nothing, but the crystal ball is good I tell ya. )

Just my 2 cents: don't ignore longer TFs.

To be fair, I have still been expecting a 4th wave to the downside to complete on the longer term... and it's close now. ;-)

Wave 4?
Could be.

Just that sometimes it's extended C, sometimes cut short, sometimes something else. And just as every other tool, EW offers GREAT explanation hindsight.

It's something completely different to call a move upfront.

I'm either to lazy or to stupid to remember 250+ different EW and other patterns, so for me it was just extremely strong R and bearish engulfing on DAX H4. In confluence between indices and based on fact DAX was lately more bullish, this has to mean something for DJI, especially since DAX started lagging behind, even more so this morning. In short, observed price action.

Despite all that, damn move still took longer to trigger as anticipated. Unfortunate reality of PA.

Nice! I'm joining with my Dad tomorrow. I've been teaching him the ropes, and getting him set up for success. :-) Also, I'm at 88.24% winning trades this month so far, tackling emotions is key.

Today I got even more than expected on trailing. At the beginning of the trading session by general bias looking at the long term was up so after seeing smaller and smaller projections I identified the cucumber and after a big reaction of the bulls I looked left and found good structure to start a trade. As soon as the expectation was again up.

I ended the day with a + 36

I decided to practice my entry strategy before the New York open. I am really lazy to do back testing, so demo testing is great for forward testing into unknown market conditions.

Finished with that one. I had a little bat pattern on the iof that got finished.

Second practice entry. I am using limit orders for these, so that I can try to get filled at an exact price, if possible. I have a feeling that it might be crushed once the New York session starts, but I need to master structure more proficiently.
