I've re-entered on the candle a couple of bars later. Still with the same plan of trailing my stop.

I think Gold looks ready to be shorted. Trend is clear on Daily, with bearish momentum coming from the Boss.

H4 Strat Shadow is forming up nicely as well. Could have taken the highlighted candle but I wasnt feeling brave enough after the EUR red news.

Hi Josephcom,

Welcome to THE PATH. Its really good that you reading and asking questions. But you better read from the previous thread. mostly it is a summary or those some of the important posts extracted from his previous thread is here in the beginning. Just only in the beginning. If you start reading from the previous thread it all start make sense.

For that coil pattern I just down loaded some chart I found in google for you. But Strat talked about these a lot in THE PATH which is basically stating from the previous thread.

Look at the Forex chart above and note how the pattern is really like a coil about to spring open. It represents bears willing to sell at lower and lower prices (the top downward sloping line) and bulls eager to buy at higher and higher prices (the bottom up sloping line). Which side will prevail? No one knows until prices finally break out of the pattern, somewhere near its apex (point), to move up or to decline.

Thank you Suran for your taking time. Isn't this the classic triangle then? And I'd also like to thank you for introducing the previous thread. It's waaaaay too long though but when I need something, I'll get it ...

Hi Joseph,

Welcome to the thread.

Yes I agree it is very long but it contains bits of gold which will help you look at charts in a better manner.

In my personal opinion, start with this new thread first as the strategy has somewhat evolved from the old thread. There is no short-cut to trading and I myself have reread the 2 threads from random locations and see them in a different light each time.

Lastly, do not be afraid to ask questions.

Yeah Gold seams good. And it tested that demand trend line ,But watch for that 1480 level

Now that you encourage me to ask question, I'll take the opportunity and ask about volume in Strat's analysis. Isn't Forex a decentralized market so that volume is broker-specific? I mean a hike in volume in my broker can be a decline in yours.

That's correct. As you read through the old thread you find using volume in analysis was dropped.

Both threads are a must-read for all students of PASR. However, I personally prefer the new thread as I find the entry conditions resonate better with me. The usage of the Strat Shadow was also not that refined (50 as compared to 72 ema).

Whichever thread is not important though as they both contain timeless, valuable information about PASR.

Lastly, post your charts for discussions as participation will accelerate your learning speed.

Risk is unconfirmed swing high on the Boss chart, as well as the Price is still above Worker Strat Shadow. If Price manages to get pass the Strat Shadow, there should be more room to run, at least to 79 RN.

There is a Boss S/R level you overlooked just below which is in confluence with strat shadow 20. If PRICE clears that and gives us a bar in H4 then there might chance. Just my thoughts

You are right, 81 RN seems like a strong level. Just that price just sliced through it the last time and I didn't remember to check it to the left.

81 could be a wobble zone, or a pullback to the upside.

With the recent oil attack in Saudi, I also do not know if CAD will be affected. I probably will stay out of this trade.
