He certainly does play well. Youtube opens many doors to find music that we might have missed forever. We're lucky!!

I found Gabriella by chance a long time ago, and I'm glad I did. She plays so well and her father, who also is an amazing guitarist, was her teacher and her inspiration.

It was great that Eric Clapton & George Harrison let the music come first and not their personal lives (read: Patti Boyd), and also interesting to see Clapton with a Les Paul rather than his usual Strat guitar....

Yes, I was very happy to get his PM today, so I wanted to pass this news along to you and TimeTells.

Internet forums can be nasty places as some people can be very badly behaved. Perhaps in the real world they are better people, but behind their screens they can be pretty horrible....especially here where there is no moderator to keep the behaviour of everyone in line. This is why I try to stick to the music thread....music brings nice people together I think. Those that are confused about who they really are, seem to stay away....

It's true, FF is a tricky place ... I've tried to delete my account several times, then I saw that it's not possible, so sometimes I stay in my cave and then always come back for my friends ... and always have the opportunity to talk to such nice people imo.

You're right....we can't delete our account here because FF uses the total number of members (if if they're inactive or even no longer alive) to attract advertisers who's revenue pay's their salaries. So we are just pawns in their game to make themselves a lot of money. There's something very immoral about that, I think.

Like you, I have spent time in my cave too because the reality is that FF has nothing I need bring pips into my account, nothing at all. But, I like the music thread because I love music, and because music brings good people together....and that is worth a great deal to me. We are united in this thread by our love for music....if we're divided, then the thread will die

I didn't know that, I think we should have the right to delete our accounts. even if we won't do it. Things happen in a funny way, I found this site to see the economic calendar and ended up staying .. I also never needed the FF to bank pips, but I ended up getting a lot of study materials that made me improve.
