DislikedToday is the birthday of the legend, Mr Otis Redding, American singer-songwriter, record producer. After appearing at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival Redding wrote and recorded his iconic '(Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay' with Steve Cropper. The song became the first posthumous No.1 record on the Billboard Hot 100 and The Dock of the Bay became the first posthumous album to reach No.1 on the UK Albums Chart. I live on one side of the ranges where the wind farm is, and my mother lives on the other side, so I travel this road...

Disliked{quote} The most recent larger earthquake near my home was 5.7 which struck at night time. Most things in the house are secure so (for instance) the cupboard doors cannot open and spill all the plates and food onto the floor, and my computer monitors are screwed to my desk so they won't fall over. But the doors were swinging wildly and pot plants and things all fell over....even my fish pond lost half of it's water! It was scary as there is no way to know if it will get bigger or if it will stop. Our houses are built to handle large earthquakes,...Ignored
