On the USDCHF pair (dollar to Swiss franc), yesterday’s daily candle engulfed the Tuesday candle, creating the Price Action (Outside Bar) formations. On the daily chart there is an bullish divergence which, in accordance with the PA+MACD strategy, supports the possibility of breaking the pattern thru the top.

Hi Guys,

I am new to this thread and also trading, currently I am using the James methodologies to trade stocks in India in NSE (Demo Account). I came across this chart with a Pin Bar setup which was looking promising but I think its failing. Can anyone help me analyse what was wrong here ? Would you take this ?

Pinbar needs to be at the bottom (or top) of a move in price.
Confluence always helps.

GBPUSD Daily pinbar yesterday, at the bottom of a move in price, recent support, big round number confluence, nice shape pin (long wick), closed inside body of previous bar, larger than previous bars etc

GOLD is on a slow down slide, when breaks the trend line will do it faster...

Hi letyy1 welcome to this great thread. IMO those are not good pinbars. Are friday bars who is also known for taking profit bars, they are too small to trade(( hope my answer was not too late)

I like Gold, very much see this moving to the upside long term but waiting for the Fed decision tomorrow as this will be a big driver for Gold.

BestofLuck IMO was better to wait for PA at 0.77 area, the best area to watch for PA is 0.795 area
