Press release on this page is from May data. Down. Futures down pretty good right now. Didn't you mention at one point a friend you got with a bead on industrial copper demand? Think I remember you mentioning something about it once.

My internet connection is doing terrible things to me tonight. Got a short in at 1146 and before I could say Jack price fell. Would be nice if we closed around 112x tonight. That would be some serious profit.

COT report for the week ended on Aug 20:

Institutions decreased their bearish bets this week while price hit 1.1060s low. The closing price on the reported day was 1.1100.

Euro shorts decreased by 8,672 contracts. Net short positions now at 37,977

1,241 long contracts were added, 7,431 short contracts were closed while price hit 1060s
low. Now Longs total 168,455 contracts vs shorts total 206,432 contracts

45% long exposure vs 55% short exposure, which 1% increased in longs and 1% decreased in shorts from the previous week

so what happens on Monday? down 1000 points or more? USD may have drop pressure on a run to bonds. Recession lookings closer. Many retailers who import from China, may find themselves in a liquidity crunch. Everyone in other businesses are connected. China has the next move.
