I agree with your other trades but I believe there are more confluence for EA to go down especially on Higher Time frames. So be careful.. But of course I can also be wrong..

I have checked again but my technical outlook remain the same. We are in a mark-up phase so we need to stalk our order in the General's path.

You are using 1H for EA right? So its general is Daily. Daily now is down trend imho...

Or am i missing something here?

Hello! Good thread... many good comments and examples. Good trading to all.

Early in my trading I encountered an indicator the ToR_1.20k (Trending or Ranging) for MT4, intersting indicator, but the simple message of value was in the coder's notes at the start of the code...

It had/has been meaningful and helpful in my experience so I quote Tom Balfe from his text... "In trending markets use moving averages, in ranging markets use oscillators." -- ToR_1.20k.mq4 Copyright 2008, Tom Balfe

Whether a trader finds the indicator helpful or not, Tom's statement is to me one of those "grand summation" type statements containing insight.

The period the price start fluctuare above and below a moving averate is the begin of at least "correction through time" if not Distribution/Accumulation, depending the trend. The correction-through-time (CTT) is resolved in the direction of trend and oftern produce momentum trades. The other two phases indicate a change in trend if they confirm.
Money moves the market, not an indicator.

EURAUD D1 is in a mark up phase what you see as a down trend is a correction phase but we need the confirmation of this demand on H1 TF

Hie good people.

I have following this thread for a few days now. Its quite fascinating to be frank. I am back testing the system and will be posting my views here too soon.

I also wanna share how i calculate different MA periods for different timeframes using a simple formulae:

p = tth/et

p: the period that you are calculating
tth: Trend Time-frame you want to trade in hours e.g W1 = 120hrs, D1 = 24hrs
et: executable time frame or simply the time frame that you are hunting setups on

e.g
What period(p) do i need to use on H1(et = 1hr) in order to be in sync with the Weekly(tth = 120hrs)
p = 120/1
p = SMA/EMA 120


What period(p) do i need to use on H4(et = 4hr) in order to be in sync with the Weekly(tth = 120hrs)
p = 120/4
p = SMA/EMA 30

We saw the right structure and join the BIG DOGS in their BULLISH wagon. Did anybody catch this move?
