True, though imo, you basically need to ensure that you have a 6 month solid demo record, before doing anything live, that and a solid contingency protocol, in worst case scenarios. I.e. alerts, monitoring EAs/indicators and so on and so forth

actually what time exactly needed for demo trading , its difficult to answer. but 6 months is quite good , if anyone trade demo for 6 months including some knowledge , of course there is a possibility to do better when trading in live.

Hello friends. I am on vacation for the next month or so. I will be checking in on occasion but I think there are enough people in the thread to keep it moving forward. I hope so...at least until I am back daily.

I've never traded stocks, so I cannot give you a proper answer. But forex is indeed difficult and it takes time to learn how to trade. I suggest you consider all the pros and cons before you decide whether trading is appropriate for you.

Trading is total waste of time and money. Smart people know that. I am not smart and it took me 10 years before I finally admitted this. Period.

This is why I largely avoid trading during major news events. To me it's not worth the risk.

news trading is very profitable and should always be considered as a strategy in itself. you can't trade it by winging it however and it does require work upfront to make the right decisions.
