Thanks Romanov102 for the chart posting on JPY...my Harmonics show the same spot basically...but I like your paid version much better...thanks again... Now for Cad..... {image}

Only pattern I have is on a 30 Min for UC. USD grinding sideways CAD data shitty today and OIL prices seem to go up and down wherever they want to manipulate them to. I used to do well trading oil years ago, after several losses last year I gave up on it.

EG on a H1 Crab pattern. One thing I want to add about these patterns to anyone following them. A pattern does not constitute a trade, it's merely an extra tool helping show you the potential measured retracement zones and work well in conjunction with Davits pivots because they are both Fibonacci based. You still have to consider what news events are up and coming that may give us the movement we need and make the pattern valid, or make it null and void. A perfect example was the EG I posted earlier this week on a 4HR. GBP data was lousy Euro soared higher pattern negated. Quite often they also on many occasions run up to the stop zone or beyond before reversing so keep that in mind as well. Check the news and watch the price action. Have a great weekend!

Hi, guys, I was just doing my weekend analysis and prepping for the coming week. I will post some charts majorly focused on this thread. Namely UC, AC, EA, AU, GU, NU, AZ, EU.
I do pattern analysis over the weekends. But after this thread, I am trying to incorporate Pivots, Charts are from Tradingview so I don't have the same template.

The indicators provided do not plot next weeks pivots when markets are closed. Is there a workaround? Am I missing something? So I created a spreadsheet to calculate for me. I was having lots of work today so in a hurry, I calculated the pivots. If there are any errors in values please notify me.

The below images have forecast for the coming week including pivots. I have posted images and will try to compile it in a pdf doc from next week.
All pivots marked are Fibonacci points.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

One danger when projecting some many different pairs is that you can have inconsistencies eg
You expect in short term:
USD to rise against CAD
AUD to rise against USD
CAD to rise against AUD

all three can't be right.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Just a thought, why not open a demo account with Oanda, download Nostromos pivots that plot the coming weeks pivots as well as the current weekly that we trade from and simply execute your trades with your trading view platform? That puts you on the same playing field as the rest of participants here and you eliminate the need to do all the manual plotting. A second computer perhaps.....anyway, just thinking out load for what it’s worth.....best to you...Ingvar

ps...we really don’t trade trend lines here, the concept is price action at pivot levels with fundamentals as the driver.....

We all get caught in go nowhere trades at times....this is mine......Cad has only one thing going for it atm...Oil prices are advancing and that spells strenght for Cad...but other than that it will be all about Usd this week.....so while I thought I had a nice entry, I will scratch the trade with a strong close above pivot...otherwise I will hold for a few days......counting on the Saudis to help me...lol

Here's a H1 chart on UC Red flag data on USD tomorrow morning and Thursday. Oil inventory on Wednesday. Perhaps we'll see this one reverse off of the weekly central which is a type 1 reaction on the BAT. See what the next few days data brings us. CAD has been weak lately. I entered a CJ long today gone nowhere down 5 pips just grinding sideways.

Crazy Morning USD &OIL going up at the same time yet USD falling against the CAD my CJ popped 90 pips. S&P earnings coming in BAD but market pops like a rocketship off of support this morning on "news" that USD China trade talks are making progress. ..................meanwhile in HONG KONG. Strange days indeed in the quiet boring summer market. lol Looking for Winter tire. Bridgestone Blizzaks are awesome!

I would love to know how you analyze. GBP has lost 7,148 pips as of this minute in the last 3 months, more than any other.

I think you mean 714 pips or its 7,148 points.
