I'm still in GBP/JPY short from yesterday and at the moment it seems to be rebounding. I also entered GBP/ AUD short on the 2nd oscillator red candle.
Let's see the outcome now.

Thanks for sharing your idea and great system , I am following the thread and your idea and videos from the beginning, after reviewing lots of thread and systems here in forex factory this system would be one of the logic and simple system I have seen, appreciate for all valuable points sharing with us ....
would you please share the Fibonacci parameters you are using to evaluate entry and stops ?

It's 10pm here in Sydney - I am closing trades and calling it a week.

It's been a good run this afternoon and I have ended the week well, offsetting my losses from earlier in the week. Good luck all for the rest of the session and have a great weekend!

Yes, I do. I don't like to because you never know what is going to happen over the weekend, but I also don't like to prematurely get out of a trade. I struggle with the notion on a weekly basis I used to close any trade that was "close" to the stop loss to protect against a potential gap over the stop (happened to me once...lost 2R) and if the stop was far enough away then I'd leave it. I might go back to that

I am trailed to just over break even with the SAR on the AUDUSD. The price will either continue in our favour or it won't. GBPAUD is the only trade that has anything going for me. Hovering around 1R profit right now. It's been a slow ranging week. We are going to get times like these and the best we can do is limit our loses - preferably to less than 1R. I have half a mind to sit the rest of the month out, honestly.

TRADING TIP

This particular week has been a slow one for what ever reason. If you look back in the charts you will absolutely see these types of periods so we should not be surprised in the least when they happen. Sure they suck because we aren't making money, but this is how the markets work. Who knows, next week we may get a huge profitable move in one direction and another profitable move back the other way - that happens, too.

These are precisely the times we just need to manage our losses as best we can or even sit on the sidelines until price smartens up. These are NOT the times to go start system hopping or tweaking things up to try and force the market to do something it's not doing. That is precisely the behaviour that will keep you forever an unprofitable trader. This is simply one of those sideways periods and we just need to hold tight until favourable market conditions return. What else ya gonna do?
