FED cut july up 100% chance. Yada Yada.
This could be trumped by ecb, with further negative rates, and or China stop buying u.s. bonds. Children shouldn't play with matches.

Hi Boulder and Gator! I'm still kicking -- no more falling trees or heart attacks lately!....LOL
I actually went back to school after 35 years to work on a master's degree in psychology -- gotta keep the neurons firing!

I hope all is well and you both are winning a bunch. FWIW, I am no longer a bear, since that 1026 level was hit.....That was just a norm for the larger bull sequence targeting 1.3100 to 1.3400. The 945 area is the LM, but this has been a pretty solid rejection from 1026 so far.

For the very short term I have the 1236 to 1241 area for some pullback............

60 pips banked on gu today.. I chickened out placing one at high.. building a position with swap at my back

Outstanding! I had to open a chart of the GU - had not looked at that for a long time......Looks like maybe 1.1868 or so on the downside......

yeah, it looks the weakest.. longing the eg looks good long term.. set and forget for a while..

Maybe short in this case would be a set and forget trade on EG, since there would be positive swaps and we are below a big ass top(since 1999). So it might make money for years to come, even if we stayed in a range.

USD LONGS PUSHED HIGHER, EUR SHORTS SURGE – RABOBANK

According to IMM net speculators' FX positioning, the level of JPY shorts dropped again last week – though not quite back to the lows registered in early July.

“USD longs pushed higher for a fifth consecutive week having dropped in June to their lowest level since July 2018.”
“Net EUR short positions surged last week back to levels held in late June. The market is turning its attention to the prospect of policy easing from the ECB in the coming months.”

knock yourself out. The month, week, day, 4h. and 1h are bullish. It may not get below 9127 1h again.. but if it does I suggest looking for a long. Above 90.93 for 4h.. the month and week are in no range the way I calculate.

.98 area or higher looks good to me.. It broke out higher, after consolidating. after rejection to break out lower.
Fundis suck for UK more than ez. UK wants GBP weaker.
