As far as I understand it all at this point, you use the V5, but you still need to download V3 for the settings files.

Watched the videos, set it up, and saw my first trade within about 60 seconds. Buying GBPCAD at 0.9926, 13.53 BST.

I believe I still need to change the time settings to get them to fit in with my timezone. I'll figure that out later today/tomorrow.

I haven't been able to add AUDNZD as my test broker doesn't seem to have it. But right now I'm just learning a bit more about how it works. I'll switch to a broker that has all the pairs needed tomorrow.

Apologies if I've missed it in the thread. I've now set up a clean demo on a new broker that has all the pairs needed. What changes do I need to make to the time in the EA/s to fit in with BST?

ADDED: All 4 windows (Three RMI EA and One EA Close All) use the same (123) magic number, correct?

Another question, sorry for so many of them!

Can someone explain why the EA would take a trade on AUDCAD here, but not on NZDCAD, since they look largely identical?

Again I may be misunderstanding the strategy, or possibly missing something, but I wonder why the EA didn't take any buys on this chart (GBPCAD), it looks like there are a couple or entry points here?

Hey there,

I had similar questions... The EA is looking for an inside bar immediately following a new high (or low) with the RMI indicator above (or below) the set extreme... So from the earlier post (#926) - the other pair didn't trigger because it's RMI was not low enough (close, but not below...) -- and the post above, the next bar wasn't an inside bar - edit - after looking, the bar that is being created (far right) could possibly trigger, but the previous bar is not higher than the one 4 behind it - so probably no trade...

Since the author of this thread is now clearly more intersted in selling his EA instead of ‘giving back’ this thread should be removed and a new one should be opened in the commercial forum section!!!

If you have been reading ALL of the postings, you would realize that it is more likely that his priority has shifted to his educational pursuits than to marketing an EA that he has already clearly stated is "not ready for prime time".

You of all people should know I've given sooo much to this community over the past 9 years I've been here! Before even posting this thread, I was and continue to be in close contact with the admins here making sure my content on FF stays NONE COMMERCIAL! To continue with these guidelines, I've since removed the any links to my website. Everything people need to trade my FREE and will always be FREE RMI EA, is right here on forexfactory. That's NEVER going to change!

I'll be releasing a new version of the RMI EA later today...

I find drawdown over 25% to be especially disturbing, no matter the profit. With 40% drawdown, I would need to have either an account about 10X larger, or trade lots of 1/10 the size.

The combination of 1:500 leverage and using the EA on a pair (and presumably timeframe) it's not designed for might well be the issue!

Hello everybody,

I'm still working on a new version/settings for the RMI EA. This version will replace the current V3 and V5. This will be a universal version and I personally think it will easily be my best one yet! It will have manageable DD, a SL and very good profit potential. People like ebeckers are just sad and ungrateful. So let's not be like him.

Anyway, I'll have the new version/settings ready before Monday. So check back here for an update soon! If you know my website you can also find the RMI EA information updated on my website over the weekend. Remember, it WILL ALWAYS BE FREE for anybody to use!
