Forum is useful but that must be active forum without any promotional content like we have Forex Factory. So real traders can have conversion about Forex.

success is an open secret for all , but only 2-5% traders become successful from this stock market. why ? because , only this percentage people different from all and their focus and patience more different and passionate than others.

I practiced a lot and tons of time really for all that matter which you may have there. That's how you find some success in life by doing things till you become master in them and forex really is not that exclusion of some sort anyway. Please understand anything being said here completely and totally. I did work hard and hard for twelve hours or more for that matter and it really should suit anyone who wants anything in life. Thanks for reminding this simple cases to me again and again anyway.

First of all, I believe you are probably searching for your vision of success and not mine or anyone else on this thread/world.
That success must be defined in the most detailed way for you in your head before you set out to achieve or else you might end up very confused and not very successful. For instance, I wanted a 50%% increase in my income via tradings and not by getting another job. I learned whatever I could (still am), defined a budget, areas of interest that I concluded will give me the best ROI, created my own financial news feed (can be done easily and for free right here), and started investing and reviewing the way things developed.
You might have totally different goals and that's totally cool, as long as you know where you wanna go, how much you are willing to pay for it, and how much time you have on your hands.

The first thing that you need to do when it comes to trading Forex is to understand what you want to achieve.
In deciding what you want, you have to be realistic. Set yourself a realistic and quantifiable goal. This could be something like: achieve 20% annual return on investment, earn 5000 USD of profit, get a total of 100 pips per month or something similar. Whatever you decide, your goal should also be easy to measure. What is also important is to set a goal that can be achieved over a long time frame - it is recommended to set an annual goal to achieve rather than a monthly goal. Once you have set your main trading aim for the year, it is now time to start learning how to achieve it.

There are some great answers here!

For me, the biggest turnaround was getting rid of all superfluous stuff in my trading. There is so much information out there, so many indicators, that I was constantly overwhelmed and looking to adding more and more.

Trading is very difficult, but in essence it is very simple. For me, getting rid of indicators, extra parameters in my trading plan, pairs I traded, that's what made a huge difference in my P/L.

Of course, there is always the fear of missing out, but focussing on what I do and not comparing myself to others definitely helps!

focus on eliminating what not to do so you don't get pushed into the slaughter house like the majority of traders.

this kind of target always make us greedy
which is the main reason for over trade with no analysis.

That's the gist of it, yes, but doing it in practice is harder than it sounds in theory.
