Hi woodyc, The pipstep setting is the spacing between trades that the ea must open new orders. For example if pipstep is 20 then the ea will open trades every 20 pips
You welcome. To me points and pips are the same. If you are trading with a four digit broker (not sure if they still exist) then 10 points or pips would be input as value of 10. If youre trading with a five digit broker then 10 would be input as 100. Hope Im making sense. Takeprofit and Pipstep settings can be different.
I'm currently forward testing the "old" Trio Orchestra (thx stefdek) since yesterday Asia session, first 6 hs on M5 and then switching to M15 TF. The main differences to the xBest EAs are the entries with up to 3 trades and for me most importantly the exits. As you may see on the open positions... many have longs and shorts simultaneously...thus virtually an EA internal hedging.
