Hi guys,
Here is a little tool that I created with which you can monitor the quality of your connection to the broker.
It is a really simple indicator that simply counts each tick arriving in the platform and then compares it to the volume of the bar.
The line of the indicator presents the number of ticks counted versus the number of ticks that should have arrived as a score out of 100(or %).
There are obviously periods where the broker is sending out so many ticks that you will be getting them within the execution cycle of the indicator. Unfortunately, this is a limit that cannot easily be overcome, so we live with it.
The tool provides a good idea of you quality of internet connection as well. I have seen that my home computer in Dubai runs at an average of about 70% which means that I am losing 30% of my ticks along the way. My VPS, however, runs faily consistently at 90% and above.
As always, please report any bugs here.
