Disliked{quote} Here are the instruments I currently trade & why: AUDUSD, EURUSD, GBPUSD, GBPAUD, USDJPY, and USOUSD I chose these instruments to help cut down on over trading and information overload. These instruments provide enough quality trading signals each week to make money. They were chosen based on recent price action that shows the propensity for price to reach a 2R take profit after a signal is generated. This list will likely change as markets change.Ignored
DislikedWell, the markets are closed. I hope you were all profitable this week. Have a good weekend. I’m going to leave you with this little paraphrased thought (can’t remember where I picked it up): It takes 40% effort for a 5% improvement and a 5% effort to make it 40% worse. Lets not make trading more complex than it needs to be, folks. Let’s focus on what truly matters and that is trading our plans and systems with calm consistency and patience.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Heya, I have read and re-read the first post, perhaps I have not expressed myself correctly, so let me rephrase that one. What Im asking you is how do you define "price action that shows the propensity for price to reach a 2R take profit after a signal is generated"? Is more of a visual thing or do you have any methodology? Because I noticed that from 28+ pairs you picked a few. thanks mateIgnored
Disliked{quote} 100% agree. The best way I can explain when you finally get it. Trading is boring. Simple but not easy. Trade "what Is" not "What if". Love the thread so far. The system is sound, so more on psychology please! Also to add, I trade the daily, because of work schedule. So I'm away from my charts all day long. And I don't even give a thought about my trades until I sit down at the end of the day, and manage my trades.Ignored
Disliked@thespoof, I have just purchased the tool about 30 mins ago but have not yet recieved a download link, did it take you this long when you bought it? I have sent a qeustion to support but no answer yetIgnored
Disliked{quote} no, i bought it this morning and have not heard a thing from them. i have sent 3 emails and no response so far. maybe monday?Ignored
DislikedHey guys. Money management and trade management are crucial aspect of trading that you really need to understand and master in order to be consistently profitable. I am posting this video I made discussing the differences between full position trading and scaling out of trades and why I think one is superior to the other. Guys, these opinions and thoughts are what I have and are what help to make up my positive trading mindset. Feel free to agree or disagree but is how I trade. And, yes, I know I didn't cover all the possible permutations of trading...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hey Spoof love the thread... Just had a thought tho, if you are taking one postion on the trade say $90 Then u can't have 1r 2r 3r as it is one postion. Or you take a 1/3 postion take profit then you are back where you started opening 3 positions.. if that makes sense lol the maths doesn't add up for meIgnored

Disliked{quote} Hi Spoof, sorry for the late reply, I had gne to bed by then!. I am up 9% for the week so I am happy with that, could have been better but the old problem of too early entry got me again. Will try harder next week. The Risk reward ea has been sorted out now so that will be in my trading next week. Have a great weekend. regards, Peter.Ignored
Disliked{quote} No. I don't look to lower time frames for a "better" entry what ever that means. It makes less than zero sense to me why you would jump down to the five minute charts when trading what is essentially the daily price action unfolding over the course of the week which is what the four are charts are. What significant advantage do you perceive that you are getting by hanging around on the five minute charts for a signal to appear? The five minute chart makes up 2% of the price action of a four hour candle and it is utterly insignificant when...Ignored
Disliked{quote} yup, totally agree.. lol.. imho, the worst aspect of trading small TF is not worthy of the time... time is precious... and if i may introduce a book about trading psychology Trading In The Zone by Mark Douglas and there is an audiobook in youtube and i have listened to it after Jan 3 black swan event to deal with my fears and greed.. Disliked{quote} Thanks for the post. I have read that book. I am glad that what I am saying is making sense to you and rings true. I am an objectivist by nature and I try my best to trade based on what I am seeing and observing in the markets. I try to make my trading decisions based on facts and observation as opposed to conjecture, fanciful thinking and uninformed opinion. I am also being as transparent and honest as I can. I have absolutely no hidden agendas I am simply trying to share my journey to becoming a full time trader. Perhaps what I am doing...Ignored
