Trailed way too closely on first trade but the last few days had me skittish.

I think I used the wrong term here. I think I meant to say "graceful exit" but please correct me if I'm wrong.

In my mind a rescue mission involves averaging in more contracts and a graceful exit does not. Is that correct?

In this particular trade I was already maxed out and had a decent entry in the golden zone and wasn't in a position to add more contracts....so I was wondering about rules on how aggressive to be with trailing faced with a 99% retracement once price got back close to my entry.

Had some busy work to take care of this morning, but I caught Gold while it was in my zone of interest I had been watching on the 1597 tick for awhile. Got long and netted +22 ticks. I see you guys got a beautiful short today. Wish I could have been at my desk for it.

Also, I don't know much about Harmonic Patterns, but isn't this considered a pretty solid bearish gartley? Occurred in gold today.

Executed sell as price was leaving AOI box at top and got error message from my platform. First time that has ever happened. I had to call and then reboot software. Had to take the next correction down and use the smaller 1:1 target (+38pts). I took next rotation and had to close due to delivery showing up early and chaos downstairs (+14).

Scot Carney's 141.4 extension that Damian mentioned last night has some merit.

It was the window defender, which was preventing the Ninja platform to be installed.

Now I have installed the platform 8 , I have a bit of work to do, to set it up, and get the same charts as you all have on this forum, or is there a template of the chart somewhere on the forum.
One Q.
Is the Ninja platform free, Like Mt4, for demoing, or one have to pay.

Can I get a free demo with a broker, as my own broker doesn't support Ninja platform.

Had a bit of an off day.
1) AOI not being reached by a few points and price leaving without me
2) Price hitting BE and then proceed as planned.
3) Setups just not working..
Maybe I was not taking high quality setups.
Think I took too many trades (15)
Have to review trades.

Damian, I have another dumb question... how long do you wait until the market opens to take a trade. I remember you mentioning something about resting orders coming into the market at open but does that apply if market is open say about two minutes in at 8:32 and I see a setup or would it be wise to wait until the market open volatility settles

Luck has no place in trading. Leave that for the poker table.
I locked in 20 points there is just too many obstacles ahead of price to not protect. We will see how it ends up. Secured $10K
