Hi, I trade Eur/Try from the short side. In the long term I think it will be fine. I took a good deal selling the day central bank of Turkey raised interest rate. And others more because the pair is very volatile. Anyway both sides give opportunities.

Guyssss. No economic affecttttt!!!! listen to me...... its political... yesterday night a tape was released about priminister talking to his son about the money they stole. I immidietly bought USD/TRY and it went up with a great speed. Today it will continue rising possibly. Its all political, never think technical about this pair. I know because I live in Turkey. On March there will be elections. Until March no reason to drop. 2.18 is strong support and with every news coming about priminister, it will rise....

I'm not sure what is your principle view to trade exo pairs like UT/ET/UR/ER.
For me, referring to fundamental approach is total disaster unless you're Turkish or Russian.
Looking at currency strength also caught me up with confusion and headache.
Why not you try looking at higher TF and make a trade forecast for short term and long term.
Once you get the momentum, you can't go to sleep and open back your trading platform by the end of trading week.
don't be surprise....the profit is countless....!!!
Anyhow I'm a day trader...I can't afford to trade long term at this moment.
I take profit in daily basis.
