H4 Status Update

Below chart shows quick S/R levels for the next 6 hours on H4 chart..

  1. Nearest support area is 1.1236
  2. Now you can also see the reason why I don't believe in anything lower than 1.1190 (because that would mean bearish continuation!)
  3. Nearest challenging target for bulls will be 1.1283 area.. Maybe a temporary bounce or not.. Time will tell..

Thanks.. but not a big deal really.. I made a slight mistake when entering this one and had to violate my "closing the trade rule" which I don't enjoy much to be honest.. but sticking to my MOFU theory was more important and the rest was just rinse and repeat.. easy peasy..

You can't fight such strong fundamentals. I reasoned last night that EU didn't touch 1.118 neither did it break it. That lead me to believe there were risks for such spikes. I'm not in a trade. I sold earlier and got out with some profit. Sellers should be careful at this point. I think 1.1270 should cap it today, but tomorrow is another story.

Powell has given in to Trump's pressure. Price may struggle to get back down. Buying dips is good. Selling extreme resistances at extremes of daily ADR is also good.

Failure to maintain PA below 1.1200 combined with Mr. Powell sentiment does favor EUR bulls in the near term. But the pair would have to break recent tops of 1.1400 followed by 1.1430 to get to the level you mentioned. It's not out of the question, but just be aware that there will be drawbacks on the way up.

Ata, that trade you took was a good trade, even though a bit early. Maximum drawdown you had was 37 pips. Still a good one. The nerve is something to commend. You didn't hold blindly and hope; there was structure supoorting the trade.

Thanks.. and yes you are right those unplanned 7 pips tolerance was backed up by many other reasons.. In the end it was worth it but as you said it requires some experience to violate rules.. I still wouldn't recommend this type of risky action to newbies.. Those must get good in all basics first, especially following rules!

Good day today. I kept a buy @1.1222 and kept a bit wide SL which is yesterday's low. I was looking at from the asian session and also was looking the correlation with the other pairs and followed by SnR, I was predicting that it would hit R 1.1265 or maybe closer to that. Since this is very strong resistance it might go very near and started to pullback or just make a range. I got very good 40 pips given the TP 1.1263 with 2 lots.

I think yesterday's low @1.11920 is the key resistance. Since we were all expecting that market would eventually hit 1.1159 and start to ascend above 1.1265 and form a range from 1.1185 - 1.1478 which would form a right shoulder in daily. But market has identified the all the shorts from 1.1159 and hence it started to pullback very early. If you could see the daily candles of last two weeks, the bullish candles are very clearer i.e the movements were uninterrupted, than the bearish candles i.e undecided. It sows that we are moving little hedged up but not a lot.
