Hello FXpattern, if you would, kindly tell me about your crab pattern. To me it looks like a harmonic pattern forced into the price chart. What is the source behind the software used? Be careful what you choose to use. A fundamental knowledge is essential before you choose to trade any capital on anything. That is called gambling. That is a poorly qualified pattern lacking many basic harmonic principles. It is sad how people slap a label on crap and sell it as something of value. Please traders empower yourselves to know what you are trading. It is fine to use tools or indicators but build the foundation first. Intime and after proper tool validation on the foundation proves to save you time by all means use the tool if you want but cutting corners in trading leads to a negative equity curve.

Hey Mr.Pip I’m curious about the decay of this strategy. If more and more people discover it, won’t it eventually become less and less profitable? I mean you have been employing this strategy since around 2012 and you seem to still be hitting the same statistics, so I’m kind of conflicted on whether or not this strategy will decay and become unprofitable. I have looked back at Soybean charts from the 1960s and they had the same exact expectations like we have today, or the same exact order flow I should say.

PodCasts would probably help you reach a wider audience but I honestly have deep gratitude for whatever medium you choose.
I still go through you past youtube streams from a few years ago and rewatch the current ones just due to you preaching the same thing consistently.

I also have the same question as spetscom about the decay of the strategy if you would chime in on that?

I don't think the system will decay or lose value over time. Because the system is dynamic to strength and weakness and the areas of interest will be drawn slightly different from trader to trader as well as traders putting their own personality into it, I don't this it will. Also The main objective is to teach traders how to read PA not necessarily to trade like me. I would welcome other experience traders to shine some light on the topic.

It seems to me that for the system to become unprofitable would require a massive change up in the movement of markets. From my research, most of the biq quant firms exploit unique edges that last 1-2 years before they suffer from alpha decay. Your strategy is based upon the foundation of market movement, (PA), and therefore I think it is less susceptible to change. Even in my random chart generator program I made, somehow expectations still played out at a high percentage, and that's with COMPLETELY random price data. I think the fact that people are STILL trading harmonic patterns, might be some sort of evidence that at the very least, these strategies are dynamic enough to be profitable in nearly any market condition.

Have you ever listened to “Chat with traders”. It’s free podcasts hosted by a guy named Aaron, he interviews successful traders(be it stocks, futures, options). The podcasts are usually an hour detailing the traders history, from the start of their careers to current.. the chats are very helpful and informative as we hear about the traders success and failures as well as what works for them(methods employed). Aaron has about 170 podcasts, majority being beneficial.

I couldn't agree more. While I'm sure that there are other successful traders out there who do this, I came across your content first and have not looked back. Someone who's willing to hang it all out there on a live stream knowing that there will be losses - sometimes nothing but losses - gives (gave) me more confidence in the method than anything else might have.

Every time I've attended a live stream or watched your videos, you've traded the same way win or lose. This is what gave me the desire to stick with the plan.

Would like to see a video(s) where you do nothing but markup areas where price action caused the expectation to change. I sometimes struggle with knowing for sure that the line in the sand is "right here" and if price breaks this line, there's expectation failure. 38% retracement is stuck in my mind for some reason and if this is right, I still don't 100% follow how to determine this.
