Perhaps it has already been said, but rookies make the mistake of looking for opportunities within a specific asset or even a specific currency pair. Instead, traders should look for opportunities wherever there is volatility. If that means we need to trade a commodity or precious metal, we need to take that opportunity. This way of thinking will generate a near constant flow of opportunities and will prevent traders from opening positions in a ranging market.

I have horrible experience on EUR/JPY, the lowest profit percentage I have by my trading strategy. Since, removed it from my chart!

My logic in trading is simple you get confused which pair to trade what is there to get confused ? are you going to invest trillion dollars ????your objective is to just earn your living via daily trading and investing . Just stick to ONE major pair and master it i.e its movements etc you will earn decent living Only an advise rest is your choice

You can trade any volatile enough pair with reasonable spreads

You got no reason to trade pairs with very high spreads, that's how most traders kill their accounts. Take my advice

You pick the pair that you are most comfortable with. But most people prefer GBPUSD or EURUSD

generally major pairs are much save than others. newcomers should choose the pair which is more appropriate to the concept of trading that will be used, if love scalping should choose the pair which has most lowest trading spreads.
