Those buys were a mistake.

I had two contradicting informations within my technical analysis, one telling me I should buy, the other that I should sell. I was divided, so I ended up chosing the wrong one. Missed about $800 recovery, plus another $800 profit on that mistake alone.

On the positive side, next time a similar situation arises, I’ll know how to chose the right one. New information brings new mistakes. New mistakes shapes the strategy with new nuances. New nuances brings new profits.

Anyway, the losses are locked in right now since the positions are all hedged against each other. I hope it goes up. But if it doesn’t now I’ll have to work double to erase the buys.

We did went through this stage. I not shame to say that
I did try this method when I first started. But end of the day, one have to go through this stage to believe that.
No matter what people say.
It's all learning stage if you come out learning from it.
End of the day, you make money if it goes your direction.
Not much to update at the moment yet.

I have some setup underway (long) which I expect to close soon, likely today or tomorrow.

I’ve been making some good profits the past few days, it’s just hard to notice because it’s been buried underneath that drawdown. My forecast is to reach at least 10k equity before this week ends.

Alright guys. This is it for me.

I’ll be stopping trading those 2 demo accounts or do any public trading on Trade Explorer, at least for now.

I was on a long setup that just hit SL twice moments ago, that totally wasn’t expected to happen. This time it wasn’t due to misreading the chart or making any mistake or anything, I was following my strategy and rules just how was supposed to but it simply failed. Which is a big red flag, which points to that I need to do some big modifications and that I’m not ready yet as I thought I was.

For now I’ll keep trading demo for some more time on my own in private and I promise that I’ll be back in the near future even better. Next time I hope to be on a live account instead, for a much longer run, even bigger ROI and smaller drawdown. I’ll use this same username and just create a new thread. So don’t forget me.

I’d like to apologize to user profitfarmer, I made a joke a few days ago which I used the words “enemy” and “hater” which was of bad taste. I was probably in a very bad mood that day. I actually appreciate each one of you who read and comment on the thread, for taking the time. Regardless of the nature of the comment, being positive, negative or criticism.

I’ll be removing those accounts from Trade Explorer probably tomorrow after market closes. So if you want to take a look at my stats and see what I did, the time is now while it still on.

dont worry, profitfarmer had some bad days too, and in fact has a thick skin to withstand some insult...snowflakes has zero chance to make in this game!
i hold no grudge whatsoever.
it was a demo account; stand what i said before, that you really not risking anything, and no real losses to deal with.
you can step back, evaluate things, adjust things.

No. I've been building a couple of my accounts for a while and consolidated all of them into this one. So at this moment even if my drawdown got to about -$200,000 technically I still would be braking even. So i'm not worried unless it approaches that.
