Not too much no, but the fact that it didnt need to drop more below 1.13 before some weak buying to show up is concerning if you are expecting a correction.

I don't get why you all guys are asking for a correction. Impulsive leg has just started. Correction/retrace already occured with the leg 1.134x--> 1.118x.
It came after daily reversed into an uptrend last June 7th (when we broke up the ST range after several disappointing US macro releases).

Now it's a momentum play meaning all tickets to the upside are now expensive (r:r wise) as we are now trading after the fact ie. FED's shift. Short scalpers will only get burnt trying to stop a train coming at full pace imo.


In a nutshell :

ST Map is :

1.122x (ST Bottom) --> 1.131x (ST Flip) --> 1.144x (ST Top)

Real deal is the break up (or not) of 1.144x on Weekly TF as it will unlock a new Map for the MT with Top as high as 1.191x

Traders are waiting for clearer direction after US Trump & China Xi have had their meeting... if they go after each other's throat then of course that will mean escalation of trade wars. Continuation bullish EUR/USD is expected to be short-lived, as the ECB too is now looking to the possibility of lower rates and/or restarting the QE programme if the outlook on the region worsens and inflation fails to move closer to the bank’s target.

For now if we need to trade the EUR/USD best thing to do is probably to scalp trade but preferably on "short" positions since that gets us positive daily swaps in event we need to hold & rollover position overnight.

i agree that momentum is to the upside, but this thing has gone up 125 pips straight.
If its gonna be a wave there should be some correction...dont you think?

You are correct, I have lost my immediate correction bias now. If this hour doesn't get bought up at the end, you will have the hourlies to contend with though.
