{quote} @jakdan, thank you @profitfarmer, i have posted many live trades on my good friends thread as jakdan has pointed out, with charts with the entry, stop and levels that i am looking at, i never claim to be right 98% of the time and that my way is the only way to trade. My good friend trades counter trend and it is an extremely challenging way to trade which requires skill beyond what i am seeing here. He has the courage to post all his trades live and does not hide behind bold claims and untruths. This thread has moved beyond exaggeration,...

Pipfarm,

FYI- There are many live calls given by Master George way ahead of time. In addition to the live calls, trading experience that one feels when some one talks to George is good enough proof for me(also believe for the rest of people who are currently serious-not that i am speaking on their behalf}. George's trading approach is laid out and many are finding success.

Let me ask you this:

Is George selling anything to you?

Did George put a gun to your head and say, this is the only way to make money?

Is George forcing you to read the thread?

Your previous posts were some images mocking this thread; and were minimized. If you are unwilling to believe what is going on this thread; What exactly are you doing in this thread with your repeat appearance?

It looks like you have no conviction in your own beliefs.

Put in the work guys, nothing is impossible and I'm sure George is ever willing to help.
To me , George is simply the best I've come across.

Sir George you are truly a master trader. I can’t seem to figure how you come up with this all by yourself.
Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge with us.

Cheers

Pipfarm, hey mate. I know your a great trend trader . You should open a thread but this is a reversal thread. As we know there are many great reversal traders as well. Our friend who does it every day here is one.Live calls every day. When I studied George methods they are very similar. I would say keep an open mind and trade both trend and reversals.

Hi people,

Could anyone enlighten me that when the exit price is not met, how they manage to get out? is there some stoploss order to protect against market moving against you guys?

How does this work in practice in flash crashes, such as the Jan 2019 one?

Thanks for your input mate. Minion here.
The thread was opened to show another way to trade the markets based on the theories and idea's of George, the originator of the thread.
As I understand it you prefer to trade trends. That's great. Everyone has an opinion, especially on Forex Factory.
Trends are superb when caught right, but with price going down on a Daily, up on an H4, down on an H1 and consolidating on an M15, which trend would you trade?
For me it's too ambiguous to trade.
This is a retracement method which leaves the trader under no illusion as to where the trade should be taken. Once they have put some work into studying the charts.
Of course your input is welcomed, stick around and you may find some value, but please keep it on topic, thanks.

Andy.

Hi moodybot is there any particular reason that the 1.2606 target on the GBP/USD is missing?

Thanks,

{quote} Sorry Moody - not good enough - can't let you off the hook on this one since you are one of the accomplished practicioners of this method. Your story has changed. Compare the post you've just made with your original one. You can't just change the narrative - this trade's been running for 24 hours if you are still in it and any normal nonEA/Non hedger would have had difficulties with draw-down. Be assured - this is not a slam or snipe but the people here will want to understand and learn why there was No Precision around entry. {image}

He is correct. I also had that HM zone though he didn't show it on his previous post. The 31 May bottom was taken out by another bottom on the 17 June (check on H1). This created a possible HM - As you can see the price seems to be curious around that zone. That is one of the reasons you don't just delete the lines once it is taken out.

He did mention the possibility of the price going for the January low, otherwise it could go up or down. I prematurely took the long trade last night and obviously I was stopped out (10 pips SL) though I did have a chance to exit at break-even. I missed out on the re-entry due to the 9 to 5.

{quote} “Stops Cleaned out” - those stops hadn’t been placed at the time of Moody’s assertion that going long was imminent - they formed LATER. Hence my point about a changed story. The post looks as though Moody was waiting for stops to be cleared when actually a deficient trade was already some hours in progress.....

Oh, my bad.
Moody got it wrong...I wondered why you were posting here.
My deficient trade hit 1:1 which most saps would teach as the minimum. I don’t believe in that crap but for some, that’s how they like to trade.
The target was set long before that call was made. Below that target are the stops. Some Saps are clever, they put stops 20-30 pips away, because that’s clever thinking. The MM wouldn’t think to look over there!!
The TMA is the initial entry which occurred at the target. If required I will hedge/ grid, but in this instance, as in most, it wasn’t required.

The low in January will be taken out, probably under cover of Johnson getting the nod. I did say that would be their target.

And no the story has not changed. I do not change the story. I also post before the event, as had George. Not after.

Now head back to your favourite haunt and go look for others having posted the same. You’ll be a long time looking.. until you come across a few of my old posts.

And while you’re there you can tell Steve that Daniel is very much his own man, and not Kevin, Zoltan or myself.
I’m sure other users of this thread will have read Steve’s recent posts where he has analysed Daniels posts and come to the completely wrong conclusion. And like Forex, history once again repeats itself.

Check post 4466 and add what we have learned from George regarding the HM and clean-up. When I see HM I also see a possible stops cleanup zone and one doesn't have to write it down. I talk of the sun and you think of light and/or heat.
