Also, with the condition that Broker time is 1 hour ahead of UK time, this should be ok. But I have one thing in common with Lem: The broker times, time zones plus the settings always do my head in ... sometimes wonder how I am able to calculate 10 moves ahead in chess lol ...

Another one was this - should be 15 pips, but the column for max range has it at 200 for 20. Am I correct that this difference was made with the digits in both cases?

Edit: Nah, that cannot be ... robot complains: sl must be bigger than 10, 11 at minimum ... ok, let the fun begin ...

Dunno if this helps but any kind of indicator parameter is always increased by a factor of ten when applied to The DAX, so perhaps the ea is the same. I remember Claudia and I talked about this back a while.

Bear in mind I have absolutely ZERO clue what I am talking about re EAs, DAX or otherwise, lol.

In fact just ignore all of that as it is no doubt bolxxxxx!

lol, same here ... technically AJ was a very nice trade, so Claudia probably caught this, but did not trigger over here... any idea why?

I have marked the range from 22 - 23:30 UK time. (my broker is one hour earlier).

mini levels at High 12690 & 12740 areas with 00 between.
Low 12600.
very short range range ,what can I say.

00-00 4 hour bar area.
The High broke ,I made a slight error, I took 5 instead of 10, but it retraced and I Longed it again looking for 10.
would love to see it drop.

00-00 area High broke, I grabbed 30 but it still kept going for approx another 10.
no idea as I am out.

Sure, lappy was on. Template with EA loaded, auto enabled. I think my range in the chart was right by looking at the m30 candles in the chart I posted? 0:30 UK is 23:30 at my broker. Set file put in Preset. Then adjusted, here are my settings:

Worked fine here.

Take a look at the breakout range settings. That seems the only difference.

Lem was right about Dax need to add a 0.

Hm, cannot see why it did not trigger with min. 0. - 200 vs your settings. Does "allow dll imports" have to be check marked?

No I don't have dll checked.

All I can suggest is make your settings exactly as mine - except the hour. Had some problems like this when we started out but I can't remember why - which is no help !

Try it on different settings during the day.

Maybe the template causes the problem? I will try opening a new chart and attaching the EA to it.

Go have a look in MT4 terminal under experts. Might be some clues there.

Not entirely sure what you mean. Strg+n shows EA firmly installed under experts though... At least it is nice to see the Trading idea worked.

Really think it's the range settings. Range last night/this morning was 11.5. Now if that is set at 20 it won't recognise the trade. Use my settings it will work.

I know what the box says but it doesn't work that way.
