Doing some weekend education, I think I've just noticed something that I've been doing wrong this entire time.
So; different measurements are provided for the patterns across the internet board and I've noticed that where I originally learnt the measurements may not be 100% correct. Also, it seems what actually makes a pattern harmonic is the ABCD pattern within the pattern if I understand correctly.
So for example that USDCHF 4HR bat I previously posted isn't actually a harmonic pattern at all as it doesn't include an extended or basic ABCD within it. Could explain why alot of the setups I've traded in the past have had mixed results at best.
EDIT: Took the liberty of typing this out, if there are any discrepancies feel free to adjust although I'm certain I've got it all down correctly.

younget I forgot to speak .. if you have another pattern involved too ... can happen to pass some pips..but not always declassifies the pattern .. I prefer to work where several appear in the same direction .. several type of standard purchase and or several for sale..I expect the larger one to be completed for me to enter more safely... but I always have some orders in the divergences and I'm closing soon.
