That aircraft that Harrison Ford crashed in the movie was a De Havilland Beaver. The one in the pic below is the one that used to be based at Parakai which is a short trip NW from Auckland. I used to go there every weekend to skydive, and the Beaver was my favourite aircraft of all. Not even close to as fast as the turbine twins we had, but the Beaver was the one to jump from...rock solid, and great sounds too. I recall making a formation jump from the Beaver with my sister, amoung others and it was running very rough on the ground. The pilot decided that one of the magneto's must be damp, so he dried it with a hair drier, and off we went to 12,000'...lol....
