As Davit stated , mixed data this morning , although I see the decline in Pending Home Sales as a "hidden gem" , fundamentally.
This can be confirmed in part with tomorrow's US Personal Income Expenditures IF it posts ANY decline , the larger decline the better for the CAD. Personal Income Expenditures accounts for a full 2/3rd of the US GDP.
Additionally , if the Canadian GDP simply meets expectations ,the ability to smash through R38 is quite easily possible to head South to the WPP , regardless of where WTI is trading at ( unless it posts a 4-5% drop, after all ANYTHING is possible in Forex).
Later today the EIA Crude Stock Change may factor into the equation as well.
I booked profit yesterday going short from the spike , got in at 1.3536 and out at 1.3512. I was hesitant to re-enter , short, at the 1.3520's , so I stayed on the sidelines.

Okay this one is not on the list, and not for the faint of Heart. Two Harmonic patterns popped on the H4 with the long candle.She's a little wild like the Senoritas In Mexico. Ay Carumba! Mucha Caliente! I always give it lots of room, and I never trade a BIG amount on it. That's financial suicide. I just entered this trade and found myself -$42 trade within minutes. Trade at your own peril on this one. I've won on it more times then I've lost, plus I looked in the fridge and I'm down to two Corona's. So I have a dilemma, I need some beer money! When I enter I use a 1000 pip limit and a 1000 pip stop, then adjust accordingly. I call this the Corona trade and the theory here is that it is like doing a little front running. Tomorrow the Hard working Mexicans that are in the United States will get paid. Then over the course of the next few days they will wire home BILLIONS of $USD. Plus the USD is really strong right now so we are already looking for a pullback on it. To me conditions look ideal this month. Having said that I was wrong once, however I was mistaken. When I do this trade I look at where the USD is and if it's hovering at the WPP or Support levels then I'm not interested.
UPDATE ON THIS ONE: PERHAPS NOT SUCH A HOT PLAN THIS MONTH. Quite often you'll see this shoot up before it goes down and I'd been waiting for it. TRUMP tweeted he's going to slap Tariffs on Mexico by June 10 if they don't slow down Migration. The Donald effect strikes again even when you do your homework and review the Calendar before placing a trade. Maybe we need to subscribe to his Twitter and start a new thread the DONALD EFFECT, and trade off of his Tweets.

3. Would have preferred to see other JPY pairs showing better reversals CADJPY dropped through S100
4. Accept what Market offers on this date

All Traders , in response to the posts by Bubincka and Egbert , I have been convinced for the past 2 years that Trump is deliberately manipulating NOT JUST THE USD , but , many other Currencies as well so that his "buddies" such as Russia and North Korea will become far more wealthier too.
All he has done actually is "take a page out of China's Book". China has been manipulating the Currency Markets for years.
However , with his personality , despite all of the personal attacks on him and his Family , POTUS is now LOVING THE FACT that he is the MOST POWERFUL PERSON ON THE PLANET. POTUS has control over Wall Street right now , and he LOVES IT !!!
With 1 tweet about a tariff on Mexico , look what he did late yesterday to the markets.
I would not be surprised 1 bit that he has a HUGE ACE UP HIS SLEEVE when he truly starts campaigning for a 2020 Re-election.( Such as a significant debt reduction on the US Balance Sheet).
Funny thing , a massive investigation was launched to see if Russia colluded in order to get Trump elected to the White House. In any typical election , in any Country , there are so many illegalities that take place in order to get a particular candidate elected. Happened here in Canada as well with Trudeau who is now trying to "hide" his interference with Supreme Court Investigations into major Canadian Companies as well as our own National Defence Contracts.

Within the next 10 minutes the News should be very interesting.
I am still short USD/CAD , and have "lots of bullets still in the chamber in case we hit 1.36".
