Good day. Thank you for the free EA. However when i drag EA_close all V5 a message pops up saying "DO YOU REALLY WANT TO STOP RMI_EA_INSIDE_CANDLE AND EXECUTE EA_CLOSE ALL V5. What can be done to fix this?
Ignored
You need to put the close all EA on a chart for itself..You cant have 2 EA`S on same chart.....You should really watch some videos on youtube abaut mt4 before starting to trade when you dont know this....

{quote} Yeah, I'm not sure what I should do here. I'll contact the admin about it.... This is only the beginning of people doing this with my EA. Even though it doesn't look like this guy is using or selling my EA but he's still using parts of it for his/her advertising.... The more people that download my EA, the more it will be abused unfortunately. Thanks for letting me know. I hope we can work as a community to keep my EA off of the forex retail space.

I don't think there is much you can do here Cubby. My opinion is that as soon as ea is put to the public forums, even if it's a compiled code, it can always be reverse enginered especially if the strategy is well described like in your case. Within a blink of an eye people can have a solid building bricks to replicate your strategy and code exactly the same thing as well. Nothing wrong with it as long your source code stays untouched. But nevertheless the danger of reselling your strategy with a new code still exist.

I don't know if you are aware of this thread here:
https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=680556

But it seems a mql5 code of your system was already created. I didn't check the code but you can if you want.
The biggest risk is not taking a risk.

Yeah, you guys are all right regarding doing nothing about people trying to sell this EA now and in the future. It's going to happen no matter what. Good advise here. My time is better spent elsewhere rather than fighting a losing battle.

Why does martingale strategies generate so much attention and why don't you link this to a real trading explorer?

The test I have running in the demo explorer is martingale but the strategy/EA I shared on this thread is not. It's a grid system as mentioned by soooo many members here.

I will be posting another live explorer likely later on this week or early next. I've been making changes to the EA to give it a SL and less DD. I'm almost finished...

Ahh my mistake I confused the EA with the trade explorer linked to this thread. Martingale or grid either way I wish you the best of luck when you open the live explorer, it will be interesting to see if one of those systems actually works for once.

The martingale test I have attached here is another idea I'm exploring right now as well. I'll be using a loss cutoff with the martingale EA of 5-10%. Martingale EA's MUST have some kind of SL, otherwise they will blowup eventually.

Another way of using a Martingale grid without SL's is to allow the grid to go a set number of trades deep with a grid that will generate profit, but then start reducing the lot sizes and TP targets, so when you do get a retrace you are controlling your loss and not taking the hit of a full SL.

All Trends will have a TP stage so you are guaranteed a reversal at some point, if your normal grid generates profit with no stress on the account at going say 15 deep, then after 10 deep start looking at reducing your profit from 11 to 15 and taking a loss from 15 to 20 and a bigger loss from 20 to 25.

If you work this correctly it is better than taking a full loss at 16 deep when your 15 deep trades do not reverse and you hit your SL. That 15 deep loss will take a lot of small say 1 to 5 grid trades to recover (I say 1 to 5 because there will be more of those) and during the recovery stage bang another 16 deep SL gets hit.

Without coming up with an Hedge strategy one directional grids are difficult to trade with an SL, because the SL will get hit too many times.
Some people say I'm lucky, but the more I practice the luckier I get

I tried to read most of the topic but admit I didn't read it all. As far as I understood take profit should be 50 pips. I'am running the EA with 10000 EUR demo account on FXpro with 500:1 leverage no backtesting. However the EA is not closing the positions even with 100+ pips profit. Watched the setup video in the first post and did everything as explained. What am I doing wrong and why the EA is not closing the positions?

Have you even put the close all EA on a chart for itself???I think if you open a new chart and put on the close all EA and add the setfile it will close baskets for you at 50 pips....You do know that if you use pairs Op has set for this EA all tre pairs in total must have 50 positive pips doesnt help one pair have 100 pips if the other 2 has 50 pips each negative....Even i would never used this EA with 3 pairs with CAD in all 3,but for demo sure...
