Scarily, I have just checked it to go stick it on and see that it came out - and I bought it new - in 1992. Just around the time I was going back and forward to the US and Canada playing football and climbing steep stuff, lol.

Seems like yesterday and a hundred years ago all at the same time!

I have a Dead-Man's stop of -10 but it never gets over -5 in the vast majority of cases as I will rather close it and go back in. Remember, I am playing momo (momentum), so I very, very, rarely will get any kind of move against me.

I will also know exactly what the 5-min landscape looks like when it comes to knowing how much room I have to breath.

if I have had a small pull back against me, I will add another trade onto the original and be prepared to go half the distance on each, just in case the pull back was a precursor to a full turn.

As for losses - well, I haven't had one this week.

It's all horse-for-courses, buddy. You did great on your first dip, well done.

This style of micro-scalping suits me to a T but I know it's not for everyone. If I want to go in longer term (maybe a couple of minutes ) then I use a slightly different technique. Same DNA, just tweaked to suit the longer hold-time.

I should also add, that this kind of thing I do here, is specifically suited to The DAX and again, I will look to tweak things a little if running it on anything else. It works fine, you just need to be aware.
