Finally this slips under 1.1230...bears will be so very slightly heartened..let's see what happens next.

Gonna go practice the violin...hopefully when I am back, this pair actually drops below 1.12...

Short: 1.1229, SL: 50 pips, TP : Open,
Pending Sell Orders: 1.1249, 1.1258, 1.12685 SL & TP Same

Reasons:

  1. No Deal US-China & No upcoming deal talk on sight soon & 25% Tariff already in place
  2. No trade deal would likely to drag down china hence EU ECO further
  3. Bears could be encouraged to drag the price towards 1.10 even towards the gap unless EU continue to show some life in it's ECO.. which is very unlikely considering the present scenario.
  4. As long as Trade war continues Dollar would be considered as safe heaven to investors comparing to G10 Currencies given fact divergence in rate.

EUR / USD has fixed above the Kijun line. Candle fully popped over Kijun. So now the pair will move up to the border of the cloud 1.1270. The stochastic is already high, reaching for level 80.

Unfortunately Ichimoku (just like many other indicators) doesn't work well on sideways or choppy situations. To me that confirmation alone is not enough. I am waiting to see if any H1 candle can close and stay* above 1.1245.. (my special long-term moving average: 963 EMA (shift 3)..

*With stay above I mean even if we see a candle close above this level the following first or second candle also has to stay above it. If they drop back below I still don't count it as a breakout.

I agree with the 1.1245 region. Looking at bar closes specifically, on the M30 chart 1.1245 is a double top, additionally on the H4 chart 1.1242 is another double top. For me personally i am looking out for bar closes on either chart at the aforementioned levels. Until then it has the potential to drop. It could go further up but just not convinced currently till i see stronger bull PA.
