{quote} I blew many accounts for not using SL. At this phase, I am checking any system with SL. Because a system is successful only when it is with SL or that is not a system but gambling. Because young people who will be following me the next day will also not use any SL, the 3rd he will trade it in a live account and lose their money (as they have less patience at this stage, Once I was also like them). So whatever we do should be in a professional manner.

Just a quick update, I have taken on copper 15min chart.

Here are 3 trades that closed today from past few days, if I had used SLs I would have same amount of pips banked.

Hello, is it possible to implement the volume indicator in your template, if you haven't already. It doesn't show up in my MT4. Thanks.

I am testing M5 (gold) and it goes in profit but with a rather poor R/R of only 1.2 (since jan 15) - SL above arrow (I like to define my risk), exit trailing after 20/80 cross. Winners : 55%.
Did you work out any stats for your type of exit?

for a better result, you should trade with the 15M chart. When you will get 80% win, then try at 5 min. With 5 min candle, the momentum is too short and even signal can go to the other way. A few days back I have uploaded a 5 min chart. In which it can be clearly seen that in spite of a valid setup the trade moved to the other way.
take care.

I already tested the M15, hovers around 70% but with an average R/R of 1.0 - so the profit curve is certainly smoother.
The next thing to find out, is if actions like moving the SL on a counter - arrow make sense...

Hi guys,
sitting watching this for couple of hours and actually missed the cross of MA. Not sure if I woulda pulled trigger on it anyway - %R did NOT venture beyond the -20 level. Not by much but enough to be outside the rules. What would you have done Chris ? ( & others of course LOL )
