no this spike looks like bankers stop loss hunt,they took a huge SL of retail traders few minutes ago thats all
because such events i prefer scalp 3-5 pips full lot,2,3,4 x day and that is

This pair want broke the downtrend the last 2 weeks.
Every down move has been corrected. Im happy now, go north!

I'm short from 1.1243. I may just book profit of 20 pips. I still will not buy EU at these levels. I will only keep shorting highs. I wish we got close to 1.127 today, but no. Let's see how low it goes. In any case I believe price will close above 1.12 today and that means spikes higher can still happen.

H1 Status Update

This is why I hate when GREEN line is flat.. Generally hides all clues.. Anyways.. past tense.. when looking forward I see this:

  1. Bear pressure probably comes from previous Dashed TL area. Daily S/R levels suggest that we can still go up to 1.1267 (and 1.1272)
  2. Retracement will probably stop around mid section of mofu candle: 1.1210 area. I might look for a buy setup if we get there. (Good old 1.1210.. what was resistance before now might turn into support)

Yeah.. H4 candles attacked 200 EMA but got rejected with first try..

And again, based on Daily S/R: 1.12275 is crucial. We can only expect bullish continuation if current candle closes above it.

Hi All,

Was there any news event that caused this move up? I just got back and immediately added shorts for my long term account but hesitate on short term account because I am wondering if this was stop run or some fundamental driven event.

I see no speeches for Euro land and the data for US before I left was benign?

I agree.. the whole past weeks is all about "testing" all boundaries.. Actually on the bigger picture price doesn't go anywhere else than down so far.. Therefore I am very cautious with switching to bullish, especially with weekly in mind..

My sell limit has been triggered just under 200ema on h4, added few small over 200ema.
TP 1 : 1.1200
TP 2 : 1.1165
TP 3: open
SL : over the last high on 4H.
