The only question is how long it will last?
I'm not sure what it will be, orders from above were killed yesterday.
Good hunt for SL. I wrote about this yesterday before the news.
Downstairs there are good areas of accumulation. My targets are down 1190, 1174 and 1164,
but it may take time.
Now I am short from 1212, SL 8p.
We'll see.
If we have already seen the high of the week, then I'd like to think 1.1052 is the next area to bottom out..
So look for sell around here for the remaining 140 pips?

Even after yesterday's 'corrective' move - there seems to be tentative upside movement - not seeing significant downside conviction in the same way as we had on 24th April.
Support in the 1.11870 area, with upside resistance showing at 1.12170. Price action looking a bit range bound today.

Evidently the market has other ideas... looking more like a 'measured move' on today's price action. Now looking for stronger support at 1.1170 area.

Not to frighten anyone but I see a EU crash toward 1.10-1.09 this month, might start heading toward there from tomorrow NFP.

Moving down nicely now. That W from earlier had me worried. If we went above that spike high from FOMC I probably would have closed shorts and stay sidelined. The "sell in May" phenom is powerful but does not always work.

Dollar strength holding through - for now. Next week could be a different story. The 'sell in May' aphorism usually only applies to stocks and shares - and is driven by the Victorian era activity of the monied classes going away for the various outside social events (hunting/shooting/fish etc) - so they parked their investing capital out of the market. Also could wait to see how well crops were germinating - and therefore predict harvest prices for later in the year.

My first and second targets have been achieved, part of the position is closed with +37p.
The second part of the position of the SL is moved to +18p.
We'll see.
