The US Manufacturing ISM data came out as really BAD.. if Powell makes an acknowledgement on that at today's press conference then Dollar could get hammered... Dollar bulls needs to be careful.. Meanwhile SL moved to 1.1218 (74 pips locked)

Whats your thoughts? do you think Eurusd will go up in that case because the likely hood is that powell will mention this news that has just come out?

If so, what price would you say is good to enter?

Daily S/R Levels for Wednesday (Repost)

Everything points at 1.1260 area.. Either we will see a big bounce or all the way up to 1.1333 and maybe also to 1.1380-1.1410 to complete D leg of potential Cypher..

I'm assuming you didn't read the actual article? Trading is more than the latest number.

Maybe he will acknowledge the explosion in small and medium size business jobs growth.

Traders need to look beyond the "number" and look at the situation in it's context.

As for FOMC day.. I am not entering any new trade until the dust get settled following post FOMC hurricane. FOMC days are always unpredictable.. its better to wait for new entry following that kind of event plus EU slowly approaching to overbought territory in 4HR chart.....hope this will help...

traders cannot looks beyond the number.
maybe they think they do that but the answer is no, maximum maybe.

traders should look for the opportunity that the graph give us with risk management.

And what do you see in this news between words?
I partly agree with you, but I adhere to the point of view more similar to the attitude of Techanalyst,
who once said that he was not interested in news and report data. Everything you need is already shown on the chart.
This is my approach to trading.

I don't want or need to be right just always looking at the big picture. Construction spending down but yet the construction industry added 50000+ jobs. Not the same but still relevant.

Supply disruptions due to southern border crisis contributes somewhat to the ISM #. Still, 30 months of expansion and the article is fairly positive. Like price, nothing goes up up up. Unrealistic to think ISM would be at 60 forever. In addition, compared to other countries, the "number" isn't really a big deal. A little slowdown for now.

Agree, I'm primarily a technical analyst and look to my chart for the necessary information to enter and exit trades. But like any professional traders, you must have one eye on the fundamentals, one eye on the charts, and of course, two eyes on gorgeous Asian women.

Still you have to wait at least for a touch to 1.1220 so that H1 chart can have its first "Lower Low".. even then it would be wise to sell as high as you can to manage risk.. No rush

Well I agree with you but for short term trading..I dont feel the need to dig deep..and it's been working well for me.... it's just my view
