I am a 56 year old , retired Firefighter and YOU have taught me more about LIFE , ART , PERSPECTIVE , MINDSET , ATTITUDE , SELFLESSNESS , PHILANTHROPY, just to name a few area's , than all of my previous Teacher's and Instructor's put together.
A serious concussion ended my Professional career. YOU have had a very large part in my recovery , and will continue to be a part of my recovery for the rest of my life.
YOU are the reason why 2 of my son's are now becoming SUCCESSFUL FOREX TRADERS !!!!! NOT because of me , but , I showed them what YOU DO DAVIT and continue to do.

In my Firefighting career , I have witnessed FATE and KARMA , more times than I can count.

You need to take a break from posting, my friend. Focus on trading, not on posting. The prophets of doom will always be there. Don't let it distract you as the markets love to take from the dazed and confused.

A good way to keep the false prophets police off your back is to talk about your losing trades. This will get them to chase others. Ironically, this is how I became profitable, focusing on my losers. Was an amazing discovery for me - keep losses small and let profits run.

So now as a teacher, think about it. When the teacher is giving a quiz, the teacher is silent. Time for this quiz?

I have being following your thread and your weekly pivot trading strategy which is for me an awesome learning experience. I am currently using your Weekly Pivot Trading Strategy on my demo account. For me, there is so much to learn from your thread. And you have helped a lot of us here especially a newbie like me. I do not know how we can thank you for all your efforts and guides.
Please don't be disturbed by all the trolls, they are parts of our life. Just let it go. Not even the Buddha can prevent himself to be disturbed or challenged by trolls. I definitely hope that you will continue your thread as usual because you don't know how much help are you giving us, Davit.
Lastly, I salute your for your efforts which I will never forget in my life. May God bless you and family.

I'm back from a long and wonderful holiday.

It's amazing when you log off and relax the way you forget everything.
Now in this condition of low focus, at least for me, past experiences tell me this is a very dangerous moment in which I don't have to hurry or force any trades but I have to recreate the state of mind and re-enter the flow.

I was so sorry to read some criticisms of Davit, I know it's easy to say forget it, don't get angry, but we're human and that's why we have feelings so it must be really difficult to receive accusations and falsehood after giving so much for nothing.

After the disappointing data from China, I'm following AJ, CJ, NJ with interest.

If you make money the way you claim to make money critics would pearl off your skin like it's made out of teflon. But the hardest thing is the point where you have to admit that the market is efficient and you have wasted a lot of your time chasing the dream they sell you 24/7. It's highly unlikely that you will be an exception Davit....

And yes, spend your time with your family and dedicate it to your real job.... the income you generate there has a far better risk/reward than anything you do in retail forex...... just my two cents.

Davit's method has strict guidelines combined with discretionary trading and for me it is a success.

I don't see the edge in neither one (just an opinion. I've seen you with many good trades here so probably there is an idea behind this as well)

Me for example sold NZDCAD since yesterday for the following reasons: 1. At R38
2. 3 times rejected R 38
The last big engulfing candle confirms my trade and also oil is heading north and positive CAD GDP expected. NY open serves as support (and is a good reason to add to the position but I don't do it because generally avoiding to open too big positions below R61 in order to be able to deal with DD later if the market has different opinion)

Also CADJPY : Fakeout at London open, price above London open and S 38. Only one position because I was a bit late but also a pending one at better price if there is a spike at the news release time

Not sure if this has been mentioned here already for this week, however I have read 1 article and received 1 warning from my broker about potential low liquidity this coming week starting today until 5th May for the Japanese Golden Week - volatility expected on YEN crosses.
